Decorating!
Hi everyone!
Today we went back over to the house with Hannahs parents, Hayley and William. We spent about 7 hours there, and have achieved alot today.
We have taken the kitchen wall cupboards down, removed virtually all the tiles and all of the wooden panels from the walls. We then removed a lot of screws, nails and rawplugs from the wall, and went over the top with polyfiller. Also polyfillered was a really big hole about the size of a ... hole (Hannah says about the size of a computer mouse, but a full size one not a tiny little one for small people....).
Hayley and William dismantled all the old cupboards and moved them into the junk pile in the garden, which is now getting quite large. We got the lounge ready for painting when we buy the paint next week :)
Carried on stripping wallpaper in the bedroom, now got 2 walls clear and started on the other two. Also cleaned the third bedroom after all the cupboards were remvoed from it.
Haven't ventured into the loft yet, wonder whats up there...
Took more photographs but they'll have to wait til we get back to the flat before we post them.
Tomorrow my uncles are visiting my parents and we are going to help my mum with the preparation for the 12 people total who'll be around. Then on Friday we go down to London for the night to see my grandparents.
