my poor Holga camera experienced a really bad battery leak, but due to its technically light leak proof body, I didn't notice it because it held the explosion in. the battery leakage practically acted as glue and made opening up my camera a tad bit more difficult.
only one battery leaked, thank goodness! but one of the contacts was left in bad shape. hooray for the internetz and my lemon tree in the backyard. i was able to clean up the leakage and got my camera back to a working state at least. you don't know how happy i was to hear the flash charging up, which means that the contact was working again.
once i was done with that and calmed down from my mild technical freak out i used the rest of the lemon to make me some tea with honey & lemon to nurse my throat/voice.
the paranoia in me also washed my hands with the lemon juice, because i didn't have gloves to handle the battery acid remnants ALL OVER the inner workings of my Holga. i would have put lemon juice all over my working area, but i dont think i have enough lemon juice for that and i'm not too sure how good that would be for my desk, carpet, and bed.
dude, i should have planned out the cleaning/recovery process some more before just cracking the thing open and just going for it. bleh. whatevs.
also, i found this song on my external drive and realized how much i truly missed it. oh, Eden's Crush. ahahaha
