I'm doing the boring thing, not going out of town or anything. I hate traveling during holidays because everyone... EVERYONE... freaking travels! I guess I get this from my family. Whenever we had our annual family vacations, we would always schedule it during random weekdays or towards the end of summer. Never on Holy Week. Never on those long holidays.
There's something really cool about seeing a busy city like Manila and Seoul look deserted. No traffic. No crowds. No noise. Well, not much noise.
I jokingly told my co-workers that I would rather go to work on the holiday than stay at home. My co-worker told me to go to those Korean palaces and play those traditional Korean games and get free tteok and sikhye. Yeah right, how exciting. (note the distinct lack of enthusiasm).
