Who: Izumo & Kotetsu [private]
Where: Kotetsu's home, and then Izumo's home, then back to Kotetsu's
When: June 24
Warnings: Nothing, only some IzuKoty fluff scattered through the log.
Izumo: Izumo glanced around his place, finally satisfied as he was able to clean up and prepare everything for Kotetsu's home coming that morning. His mother didn't give him such an easy time as she decided to stick her nose in his business till almost the last minute. Collapsing onto the couch, he grinned into the pillow. Koty's coming home today, Koty's coming here today, Koty's coming home today, Koty's coming here today! So what if he was a little excited? Two weeks can feel like years depending on how you look at it.
Kotetsu: Two weeks was years, in Kotetsu's opinion. He'd gotten home as quick as he could, literally throwing his suitcase into his room, before racing to the living room. Finding the phone was no problem, and he quickly punched in Izumo's house number, yelling a quick "I'M BACK!" before hanging up and heading for the front door. He hoped that had been Izumo that picked up; otherwise they might have been very confused. Oops. Then again, it had to have been Izumo. Unless he had gone out or something. But WHY had he gone out on the day he was coming back! That idiot.
Izumo: "YAAAA-" Izumo was in the middle of cheering when he heard the soft click from the other end. Returning the phone to its cradle, he pouted and sulked a little on the couch. Kotetsu had been gone for so long and all he had to received from his patient waiting was a split second phone-call?! No. No way was he going to accept that...unless it meant that Kotetsu was already on his way over. And with logical reasoning, why wouldn't he be? Izumo quickly launched himself onto his heels and dashed over to the peephole at the door so that he could open it before Kotetsu could knock. "Yay!" He cheered silently to himself.
Kotetsu: He'd decided to take the stairs, hopefully to get rid of some of this excess energy. When he reached Izumo's floor though, the door opened right as he approached it. Kotetsu blinked for a moment, startled, but then his surprised expression broke into an easy grin. "Hey." He said, trying to act nonchalant, when all he really wanted to was tackle Izumo. "So... vacation sucked."
Izumo: "I know," Izumo replied in the same nonchalant manner. "I mean, how could it have been good without me?" His face broke out into a grin and finally what Kotetsu was successful in refraining from doing, he did. Grabbing the other's arm, he yanked his boyfriend into the apartment and planted a big kiss on his lips. Unfortunately due to his haste, he missed and kissed him near his jaw line instead. "Welcome baaaaack," he declared and gave Kotetsu a squeeze around the waist. "Bring me anything good?"
Kotetsu: "Trust me, there was nothing you would have wanted." Kotetsu replied, laughing happily from the moment Izumo opened his mouth. He'd definitely missed home. This only served to further cement that knowledge. "And besides, shouldn't I be more important than some present?" He teased, scrunching up his face at Izumo for effect. "I feel so hated now!"
Izumo: "I guess so..." Izumo pretended to pout and pushed Kotetsu down onto the couch while standing over him. "Looks like I have no choice, you'll have to do," he messed up Kotetsu's already messed up hair and grinned. "So anyway, are you hungry? Tired? Bored, happy, sad?" He walked over to the kitchen counter where he had prepared a few snacks and appetizers and placed the plates in front of Kotetsu. "Tell me at least something interesting that happened."
Kotetsu: Kotetsu wrinkled his nose, batting at the hand that mussed his hair. "All of the above? Except for bored. And sad. And happy." He paused. "I'm hungry? Ecstatic to be back, even more so since Dad's gone for a few weeks." He grinned, pulling Izumo down next to him - practically on top of him - as soon as the food was safely on the coffee table. "Something interesting? What kiiiind of something interesting?"
Izumo: "I don't know...I was hoping could provide some anecdotes as entertainment," he said as he reached over and pulled a chip from the table to feed Kotetsu. "Don't tell me you spend the past two weeks staring at a wall or something," Izumo frowned, straightening out his shirt. "Didn't you feed some pigs, pet some sheep? Scoop up some dung?" He snorted.
Kotetsu: He took the chip obediently, dropping it into his mouth with a loud crunch, before promptly using Izumo's shirt as a napkin. "There isn't much to tell. And we weren't in the boonies either, you weirdo!" He laughed, gently shoving Izumo. "Basically, I spent the last two weeks running after my little cousin while my aunt worked. The rest of the time I spent in Starbucks, wondering how weird it would be to ask a stranger if I could use their laptop for a half-hour."
Izumo: "Well I'll tell you one thing," Izumo pulled back from Kotetsu and brushed his hand over his shirt. "It wouldn't be nearly as weird as wiping your dirty mouth onto your boyfriend's lovely shirt that he put on just for you," he fell in the direction in which Kotetsu shoved him and curled a pillow around his arms. "Ne, was it that boring? Didn't meet any new people, hm, hm?"
Kotetsu: "Two weeks, in tow of a five-year old. How many people did you think I'd meet?" Kotetsu answered, shifting to drape himself over Izumo, using his arms on either side of Izumo's chest as a brace. "And yes, it was that boring. Why do you think my dad sent me there? Because he expected me to have fun? Hah!"
Izumo: Izumo held in a snort. "You could have taken the five year old and picked up some lovin' ... course I would kill you and never trust you again when I get back, but it's something you could have done," he shrugged. He turned his head downwards so he could look at Kotetsu and gave him a pat on the head. "Anyway, I thought you said you were hungry. I made us some food...and don't worry, just cause you're on your first day back, I won't try pronouncing the name," he rolled his eyes, knowing how much pain Kotetsu always pretend to be in whenever he tries to speak French. It hurt, really.
Kotetsu: "Could have, but I didn't!" Kotetsu pointed out, snapping his teeth playfully at Izumo's hand. "I'm not really that hungry. Besides, to eat, I'd have to move, and I'm rather comfortable, thanks." He grinned, moving upwards slightly to further cover Izumo with his body. "Unless you want me to get up, that is." Came the addition, Kotetsu obviously daring Izumo to say yes.
Izumo: Izumo pretended to be in thought for a few moments, as if he was completely oblivious to the Kotetsu that was currently all over him. "I worked so hard though..." Leaning his head up, he nipped Kotetsu's bottom lip and smiled. "But nah, I like you here the way you are. Just know that I slaved all morning over the kitchen stove for you, so you better show me how grateful you are."
Kotetsu: "Yes, sir!" Kotetsu said sharply. He would have raised his hand in a mock salute, but then he'd lose his balance and fall to the floor, making the action all around badness. Grinning down at Izumo, Kotetsu moved to brush his lips chastely over Izumo's. "Missed you." He murmured, pressing a kiss to the corner of his lips afterwards.
Izumo: Izumo rolled his eyes at the sharp reply and managed to poke the other at his side. "I missed you, too," he replied, rubbing his cheek against the other's cheek. "So, what is the first thing that you want to do on your day back - besides rushing off to see me of course, cause you've already done that," he grinned satisfyingly. "I mean, even though it's pretty comfortable here I don't think spending the entire time on the couch would be any fun." For one, his mother would be back soon.
Kotetsu: "Mm, we could go out somewhere? Or we could go back to my place." He grinned, obviously feeling sly. Kotetsu wouldn't mind doing either or, but he had to admit, he had a certain preference towards the latter.
Izumo: "You're the homecoming boy, so you get to choose," he leaned up and gave his boyfriend a lingering kiss, stroking his side while doing so. "But you did say that your dad wouldn't be home for a while right? And my mom's going to be home from my sister's soon...hmm..."
Kotetsu: "I did say that." Kotetsu agreed, grin growing wider. "And by while, did I mention that he'd be gone for three weeks and most of the summer besides that?" Oh, he was very pleased with himself. "For all his being a control freak, this might actually be worth it."
Izumo: Izumo's eyebrows rose rather high in surprise, this means that he would be able to spend nights over at Kotetsu's for once! Well, if his boyfriend invited him that is. ...Ok, screw the invite, he would stay over without any permission if he had to since this is pretty much a first time ever. "I would say that it can be worth it, depends on how you spend it though. You know, spending time with the wrong people can ruin anything," he gave Kotetsu an I'm-that-right-person-and-you-know-it smile.
Kotetsu: Kotetsu nodded. "You're right. I should make a note to have Hayate over more." He laughed, quickly kissing Izumo before the other could protest. "Your mom won't mind you staying over, right?" Kotetsu added, when he thought it was safe to break the kiss without Izumo getting huffy.
Izumo: The kiss, more or less, worked. Izumo's clouded expression soon melted away into one of sunshine and butterflies. Ok, not really, but it worked and that was all there was to it. "Nope, I think she'd want me out of the house anyway. Keeps pushing me to go apartment hunting, I think she just wants sex with my dad without me around or something," he said. A moment later, his face screwed into a nauseous expression. "I didn't say that. Let's move on?"
Kotetsu: "Well, you can always move in with me this summer until you find a place." Kotetsu's mouth, as usual, was moving too fast for his brain. Upon realizing what he had offered, he blushed a faint pink. "Uh, yeah. Anyways, want to head over to my house before your mom gets home? Or do you need to tell her where you're going?" He teased, prodding Izumo in the side.
Izumo: Izumo's eyes shot open for a second and was about to reply with a positive, enthusiastic answer when Kotetsu changed subjects again. Which was obviously a sign that it should be something well considered and thought out before put into action. Which also obviously meant that Izumo would bring it up before the next half hour goes by. When teased by Kotetsu, Izumo frowned and lightly shoved him so he could dislodge himself. "I'll write her a note," he muttered, getting up to find paper and pen. He wasn't a mommy's boy...Kotetsu was just being mean.
Kotetsu: Kotetsu pouted when Izumo shoved him off, and immediately made his way to wrap his arms around him from behind, resting his head against Izumo's shoulder. "Pushing isn't nice, Izumo." He near purred, grinning like the cat that ate the canary as his lips brushed over his boyfriend's ear. He dropped the seductive routine just as quickly as it had begun, tightening his grip for a split-second. "C'mon..." He whined. "How long does it take to write a note? Mom, went to Koty's, be back sometime next week. Izumo. It's not that hard!"
Izumo: "Not hard if you want her coming at midnight, pounding on the door and demanding why her only son was taken - no, ripped from her hands, and what on earth did she do to deserve such a fate," he said with a snort as he predicted the words of his drama queen of a mother. Tapping the pen on his chin, he thought of a sufficient reason and immediately wrote to his mother that since Kotetsu's dad will be gone, he must stay over and cook for him - or else his poor incompetent boyfriend would die for sure. His mother isn't the only dramatic one in the house... Izumo smiled at the note and left it on the counter. "I still have to pack you know," he said, getting rather excited now. So he didn't have to wait half an hour to agree to move in with him after all.
Kotetsu: Kotetsu thought of Izumo's mother. That was actually exactly what would happen. "Yeah... write that note, why don't you." When Izumo continued, Kotetsu was taken aback for a moment and blinked in slight confusion. "Pack?" He hadn't quite caught up to the fact that Izumo had essentially accepted the previous invitation. Sometimes he needed things spelled out for him.
Izumo: "You are sorely mistaken if you think I'm going to wear your dirty laundry for a week," Izumo replied. "I guess I can do it later if anything, but I would like to sleep in my own clothes tonight," he added, almost as an afterthought. Smiling happily to himself, he turned around to face Kotetsu and led him into his room by his arm. "Want to help me pack? Maybe I should pack some of the food that I made too, so we won't have to live on take out for tonight. I doubt my parents can finish it all off anyway."
Kotetsu: Still a bit stunned, Kotetsu nodded as he allowed himself to be led to Izumo's room. Flopping down on the bed (not as comfortable as his own, he noted smugly), he placed his hands behind his eyes and took an unabashed look at Izumo's rear before refocusing. "Whatever works, I guess. If you want to bring your food it's fine with me. More money we have that we aren't spending on takeout."
Izumo: Izumo didn't want to sound like an underappreciated, 40 year old house wife, really he didn't. But that didn't stop him from turning around and grabbing a pillow to smack against Kotetsu's head. "You're supposed to say 'OK! I want to eat your food over take-out ANYDAY!'" Izumo frowned. "I guess I'm going to have to tell you what I made later over and over and over as punishment," he then made a mental note to find out the name again while stuffing some clothes into a duffle bag.
Kotetsu: "I do! I do!" Kotetsu corrected, holding his hands up in front of him. "I was just thinking that the money we'll be saving on making our own food could go towards us doing more things out. It'll be fun!" He grinned at Izumo, hoping that his cheerful tone would win Izumo over. The big, brown eyes wouldn't hurt either.
Izumo: "Yeah, yeah..." Izumo said nonchalantly, though quite pleased inside. He then placed his duffle bag on the bed and went to gather some clean underwear, giving Kotetsu a quick kiss on the forehead, above those big brown eyes. "I think this is enough. Let's go pack the food before my mom comes home and reads the note, I have a feeling she's going to be asking a million questions."
Kotetsu: "Great." His face fell comically, knowing what was to come. "You're supposed to get the interrogation from the father... not the mother of your best friend who's known you since you were six." With that said, he got up from the bed, wrapping himself around Izumo and stealing the bag away from him. He could carry it; he'd gotten enough practice today with his suitcase. "Save me from your evil mother?"
Izumo: "My father would probably ask you where his food is or something as stupid and ...Idon'treallywanttobeinterrogatedbyyourfather," Izumo said the second part quickly. He could just imagine being chewed up and spat out on a nice Sunday evening. With Kotetsu carrying his bag, he moved rather quickly in the kitchen. "Here's the plan, if my mom comes home before we're done, we'll tell her we're going to the park and she can find out that I'm staying over through the note." A few moments later, he snapped the last container shut. "On second thought, I'm done. Let's go."
Kotetsu: Kotetsu laughed, pausing by the door to wait for Izumo. "I wouldn't let my dad interrogate you, don't worry. Plus, he wouldn't have nearly as much fun lecturing and intimidating you as he would me." Opening the door and letting Izumo out before him, he playfully bat his hand against Izumo's rear. "Hurry it up, slowpoke. We don't want to get caught as we're leaving with a duffel and enough food to feed an army."
Izumo: "Hey now....no frisky business in the hallways, you know that," Izumo said particularly loud when he saw that the hallway was empty. Walking faster upon request anyway, he nailed the elevator call button with his elbow and was happy to see that it was already there. "I guess we're lucky today," he commented about the usually shitty elevator service. "Escape from the scary mom: halfway cleared," he said mission-like when the doors slid close with them inside.
Kotetsu: Peering out carefully when the elevator reached the first floor, Kotetsu gave the go ahead, making a mad dash for the front door, dragging Izumo behind him. Safe, safe, safe... SAFE! Panting for breath as they entered his building, he grinned lopsidedly at Izumo. "Made it." Of course, they could have done with out the running, but let him have his fun.
