Sleep? What is this "sleep" you speak of?
I work for McDonalds Canada as a Swing Manager (shift manager). My restaurant is tiny and has almost no staff. I wind up working a LOT. Not only do I work slightly more than full time, I do Brower. Martin-Brower is the shipping company that delievers our shipments of stock. So once every 5 days I head into work about 6am, tidy up and get things ready for the morning people then about 6:30 I unload the truck. I take my time because I'm honestly just too tired to rush so it takes me until 8:30-9:00am. Then I usually work again at 2:30pm. I do this a lot. or I'll come in for a couple hours here and there.
So, lots of work of late.
Play. I like my friends and my family. My two days off are used to the fullest. No sleeping in, no lazying around. I get up, clean the appartment and get out there. I Like to use one day for family and one for friends, usually not sleeping much.
There is actually very little "me" time during these two days.
Gaming. The "me" time. I spend a LOT of time on this machine. I come home, I get on and fire up the PC. I wake up and have some time before work, more PC. Usually go to sleep between 2:30am-3:00am. This is normal for me. It has been since I was about 8. I'm a night owl and need very little sleep.
It's odd though, I never seem to finish a game. Rome:Total War will hold me for a week, until I'm a few hours from total victory after restarting 30 times and I'll just stop playing. I'll be at Deidrianna's Palace in Jagged Alliance II and I'll quit. Even Guild Wars, a game in which I have the honor of being a Memeber of the beta/alpha guild ClubG and the release Guild Negative Zero (if you play, you've lost to us)
I can't wait for Christmas to be over. It'll mean I'm that much closer to being out of this place I've managed to get myself.
