Ever had a nightmare that felt so real you weren’t sure if you were in dream world or reality? If you wake up screaming I’m guessing the first thing people would say to you is "it was just a nightmare, its not real."
Well that happens to me too, but unfortunately…mine are real. Mine name is Tiffany Star. I’m seventeen, and my life is getting stranger by the second. I’m no longer a normal person; normal people aren’t as stressed as I am. I feel as if I'm carrying the world on my shoulders, although no one would ever notice. Some might think I have a gift, I considered this but the truth is my life is no longer my own, every excess minute I have is spent saving someone elses life from what i saw in a dream. What are dreams, this is a question I've asked many times, for most people dreams are a figment of reality. Unfortunatly Its not the same for me. If I see something in a dream or daydream (vision) it comes true. Most of my dreams are nighmares things I dont want to even imagine happening. For example last week I watched a little boy help an elderly women across the street and as I begun smiling I had a "vision of a truck swerving towards them. I wasnt about to let that sweet little boy die so what do I do? I push him out of the way and two of the trucks sixteen wheels run over one of my feet leaving me in the hospital with a crushed foot. Yes, true story though hard to believe. My parents, now thats another story. My true parents are nowhere to be found Im an orphan that the government found on the streets ten years ago. I was seven and on the streets honestly though I didnt mind it at least then I wasnt government property. In my opinion I didnt mind living on my own, my second month with my new adopted parents and they began abusing me. It started with them just screaming because they'd be talking to me and all of a sudden id fall on the floor shaking with some dumb vison and then run off to go save someone. Well they eventually of course notified the government and before I knew it i was shipped off in a straight jacket into the back of a white van to be taken to a mental hospital which also ended up being a lab. Inside of the van I refused to stop screaming I had just been abducted by the people who were suposed to help me. There threat to me was a very long very sharp needle but screaming at the time was not somthing I could control. As the doctors put the needle closer and closer to my neck I screamed louder and louder. The pain that followed the needle being stuck deep into my neck was almost unbearable until i fell into a deep, deep sleep.
Tink...Crink...Bang.....
My every move banged the chains holding my arms to my bed together. I slowly opened my eyes to see a white cusioned room with one white LOCKED door with only one small window on it. I looked through the window to see tons of doctors walking speedily past. Tons of laughter exploded through the room as three doctors entered the room one of them wheeling a cart full of tools.
"Why hello little lady, confortable?" The head doctor asked
"Do I look It?", I smirked "why am I here?"
"Well you are either A. Insane or B. A weirdo with powers, and if your B we are going to open up your brain and do many quite poainful experiment to see if we can give your powers to others." He cocked back to me.
"Why the hell would anyone want my powers, take them I dont care"
"Oh.. little lady we wont take them away, well just make it so others can have it too now stay still for your hourly shots"
"Ho.urrr..ly shots..."? I stuttered.
Fear struck me as the cart full of large shot was wheeled closer towards me. They had to take of the chains to flip me over but the second they were off I kicked one of the doctors and tryed to make a run for the door. I made It three steps before i was pulled back and had something strapped around my neck. Trust me it was no fasion statement. It was soon electricuting me until i fell onto to floor dull and lifeless. The doctors raised me back onto the bed and flipped me over . I managed to studder a faint "Why?" before the stuck a needle deep into the bottom of my spine.
