BLUE MOOOOOOOOON!

And so it is, that we enter 2010 on the night of a Blue Moon, and I'm no longer alone, with my Pat by my side (not that he wasn't last year, I'm just SAYIN!), and our little apartment together (which we DIDN'T have last year), and life moving onwards.
I'm looking forward to seeing what progress I can make in 2010 with my fitness and health goals. I may not be seeing much progress since I joined SparkPeople back in October, but there's still work to be done, and meals to be discovered, and I'm feeling positive about checking in every day to log food and exercise. It's motivating, ya know?!
I'm outta here (work) today at 3. I think that our receptionist (1 of the 4 people here today--all support people with no one to support) is trying to get us out earlier because of the SNOW this morning, but I am pretty sure I'm here til 3. That will give me time to go home and shower and prepare to get down to the D. Rush gig 2.5 hours away in in Seaford, DE tonight... It will stink not to be hanging out with a group of our close friends tonight, but I really think the gig will be a great one, and I hope I won't disappoint Pat too much. I hate dragging him out to gigs at all when there's no one to hang out with while I'm singing. But there should be good food, good drink, and Grayson should be coming down, if no one else, so he won't be ALONE alone... Midnight will be ours, and then we have a cozy hotel room to retreat to when the music stops and the party's over.
I wish I had a necklace or glasses or a hat or noisemaker or something for tonight! I hope someone brings stuff. Hehehe.
I just want tonight to be a positive, fun, happy beginning to what I hope will be a marvelous year.
Plus, hey... Blue moon. It's gotta be lucky. It's good joo joo as far as my Pagan knowledge goes, so I'm gonna bank on good things.
