It's A Banner Day!
I actually left my apartment for work early enough that I stopped to get ripped off at McDonalds ($5.68 for a hashbrown, a sandwich, and a mocha? That's just ridiculous), and still make it in to work on time. That's like... the first time I've been early in... maybe ever. lol.
It's been 100% dull and boring at work since the snow day, and I've just been trying to keep myself busy. Throughout the boredom, I've started worrying myself more with where I'm going to go from here after the job ends, and how it will work out with moving to PA and where and when and all... And then I shake it off and realize it's still only March, and there's time to worry about it as my end date with Avon draws near.
I'm really excited for this weekend. This past weekend was busy and slightly "off" for me, so I'm excited to run one more Friday Night karaoke for Scott and Glamstar at Price Lanes, and then have Saturday just for Pat and I to spend time together before I rush into the madness of teching for "Private Lives" at the Drama League. We're going out on Saturday for "date night" and I get to treat him to dinner because I'm getting a big bonus this paycheck (thank the Gods!), and I haven't been able to pay for myself, let alone for him to go out in a very long time. I'm pretty excited. :-)
Hell, I'm just excited to see the boy.
Not much else to say! Since the audition didn't go as well as I'd hoped, I think I'm packing in Spring theatrical plans. I'm going to focus on the band, and spend my free time costuming for Spring/Summer events (Faerie Festivals/LARPs/Ren Faire/etc), trying to spend time with Pat, and starting to look for work/apartments in the King Of Prussia area.
I do miss the stage. This officially puts me at almost a year since "Nancy" in Oliver! and my last truly enjoyable stage experience. I want a musical. Wahhhhh!
Soon enough. Gotta break into the PA stage scene... yeah.
Back to... well... "work."
