Brian's show was great. Their version of "Noises Off!" was very funny, very animated and focused, and also very different (esp. Act 2) from the other versions of the show I have seen. Congratulations and hats off to the Widener Theatre.
TODAY, I'm just about to jump in the shower and head out to join Bill at the Newark Cinema Center to see "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." Then I have to run to the grocery store (as I never have time during the week to do such chores). THEN I'll be heading over to Aimee's for her fabulous housewarming party... THEN around 8:30pm I have to run up to the Drama League to take my (very small) part in the Drama League's 75th Anniversary Celebration Gala show thing... THEN I'll either head home to crash face-first into my pillow, or go back to Aimee's to join in the late-night partying. *PHEW!*
Tomorrow it all starts again with an "Oliver!" rehearsal at noon... then a few hours to breathe back at home before getting together with Don and Aimee to work out some ideas for our acoustic trio... Then the cycle of rehearsals, socialization, band practice, and all starts up again on Monday. Hooray for being busy...
Hooray for finally being able to sleep in today (and it was actually QUIET aound my apartment all morning).
Love being busy... I do. But I love my laziness in turn. ;-)
Off I go, or I'll be late meeting Bill! Gah!
