"If It Makes You Happy..."
Ok, so shit's still all messed up. But since a lot of it revolves around other peoples' problems... I'm just dealing on my own for the most part. I'll figure things out, I always do. For those who have been offering help, advice, or just hugs-n-love (some of you without any idea what's going on, heh)... Thank you.
In the meantime, I'm keeping (very) busy, and getting ridiculously excited about Once On This Island, and recently... Delirious Rush. ;)
I walked into rehearsal on Sunday as the third of three singers, and walked out simply as a co-lead vocalist with Cheryl. Very exciting stuff.
Aside from FINALLY filing my taxes (and breathing a small sigh of relief that I'm still getting back just over $500), applying for new jobs left and right (Kate might actually help me get a good one through Caldwell--she knows how hard things have been on me monetarily, and knows Jim will NEVER pay me anywhere NEAR the $16/hr they are offering for the job I might be up for), and getting some bills paid and taken care of, everything's basically... Eat, sleep, rehearse, eat, sleep, rehearse... sleep, Rocky, sleep... rehearse, eat, sleep (rinse, lather, repeat)... heh. I'm glad to be busy.
Marley is lonely though. She's been seriously up my butt since Bethany moved out, because now she has no other kitties to antagonize. She's so purry though. I don't think she misses them much, just the presence in the house while I'm gone. We snuggle for the better part of most nights now (and she never wakes me up at the buttcrack of dawn, or throughout the night), so that's amazing and wonderful. She is fantastic, and she keeps me sane.
Guess that's all for now. Whee for a kinda-normal update... Gotta go dry my hair and consider the "sleep" part of that daily rotation...
