"Surprise" visitor last night. Made it a *very* nice end to a very crappy evening...
Poor Aimee has been working herself silly, and not sleeping well, so she had to cancel on Katie and I last night for weddingy-goodness... Katie and I planned on going out to do some light shopping and then head back to my place for some sewing.
I went over to the Cinema Center to check my hours for next week... and I found out that I had to work at 5:10pm last night. Dammit. So, I "rushed" home in the horrible traffic with Katie, and changed and headed back to waste my night at the movie theater. Meh. However, I did get to just stand around and talk to LauraH all night while I was tearing tickets. It was a fairly enjoyable work night (I even got to change the marquis letters outside, which was rather exciting...). I just had other, more productive plans.
Greg drove up to see me last night, since he will now be in PA all weekend long, and then I will be on the other side of PA all of NEXT weekend (although we will see each other for his show in DC and The Lion King in Philly next week). So we were bummed that our nice lazy weekend would be cut short by frivoloty of the "no-girls-allowed" variety. But he'll have fun.
I haven't decided what I'm doing with myself tonight. I think I'm going to go stay over night with Aimee and Andy and head to the MD Ren. Faire with them tomorrow. Yay! Should be fun. And I will still have my evening after work to shower and get that damn zipper sewn into my floorshow corset before Aimee is done at her Gaming Night and is ready for company. :)
OK. Back to work. I have a pile of paperwork that's been put off all week in favor of more important things... and now this paperwork HAS to be a priority... because it's driving me NUTS not having it done.
