Go Fig!
It's been a pretty great day so far! Boss hasn't bothered me much, in fact, didn't make it in until after 11. I've had a BUNCH of people in for appointments, but the phones have been moderate, and I haven't had much of anything I can't handle... Nothing, in fact. I rock. heh.
(I know I'm going to jinx all of this by writing about it)
Anyway, the day's more than half over now, and I have a lunch date at 1 with Ms. Katie. Woot. By the time I get back, I should have ONE more "official" interview (ie. someone with an appointment), and then I should have the afternoon free to answer phones and work on my piles of back-paperwork. The girl who was here before me got bogged down, and I'm still cleaning up HER piles. Even with all the new stuff coming in on top of it, I'm figuring it out, and the piles are slowly starting to dwindle.
Now, if only I could get Jim and Susan to STOP giving me things to do that aren't my job (until they start paying me for it!), I could *REALLY* get something done around here. ;)

EDIT: Jinxed myself before I even finished the entry... My 2pm just showed up NOW. What the hell happened to my lunch break? I hope Jim will still let me go. I don't want to wait too long, because I have dinner with Stacey, Keith & the girls later(And probably tons of--hopefully FREE--food at the baseball game)!
EDIT2: Just snuck out to lunch, forgetting that I hadn't posted this yet. I hope to the Goddess that Jim didn't read all of that just now. However, he's mostly oblivious and thinks I'm an idiot anyway, so he probably didn't even notice the screen was something other than the staffing program. Bah. (*still slightly worried*)
