HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SOPER-TASTIC LOVE-MONKEY!!!
So... After 2 days and 3 shows back at "Beauty & The Beast"... I am dead set on auditioning for the show in Delaware this summer.
I want to be "Belle" so incredibly badly. It's silly I know... But I know I'd rock out the role and put all other "princess-hopefuls" to shame if I would be given the chance... But being cast as "Babette" or even just one of the "Silly Girls"/Dancers would be a hoot for me at this point.
Plus, I could bring my special backstage knowledge of the Broadway show (onstage *and* backstage tricks and techniques) to the DE show. heh. ;)
SO, I get one more show with my favorite feather duster tomorrow (I HAVE TO BRING MY CAMERA AND GET A PIC or two WITH HER!), and then more day work (ugh), and then more shows with the female ensemble... Good times.
Today I made up my mind and told Julie (my supervisor/boss) that in addition to wanting to remain available for weekend work (with plenty of notice!!) at "Beauty," I would be willing to break whatever lease/job situation I have in DE to come back to NYC again if a permanent position becomes available and is offered to me. :-\
Really, even if I try thinking about my money situation as the *ONLY* factor... How could I refuse? *sigh*
Anyway, that was a musing I didn't expect to end up at tonight (My goodness! This *MORNING,* heh)...
This was originally just me trying to be the first person to say Happy Birthday to my favorite Monkey (ON his birthday, Marni, I'm not forgetting your group-b-day-greetings)! ;P
SO... HAPPY DAY, and LOVE YA, SOPER!
