A/N:Okay! Since I promised myself I'd start updating this journal more and the only way I seem to do that is through my writing, which I've mainly been posting on my Tumblr, I will now make sure to post on here too. *nods*
This...piece, I don't even have a title or a plot or anything behind it. It was just me, with all my Junsu feelings combined with a bunch of other feelings and this is what came about. (very short too)
It's...been sitting on my drive for about a week now and I finally decided to just post it. *shrugs* I'll let you all interpret however you want without stuffing you with my headcanon around it....
He laughs and laughs and laughs, until his laughter turns into tears.
He sings and sings and sings, until his throat burns raw.
And when he sleeps, he doesn’t dream, he just drifts and drifts and drifts, forever searching for something, something he’s still not sure of.
He dances his dance and trips through life, as though there never was a care in the world; smile, carefully stitched on to cover up the scars beneath.
It’s a game he knows how to play well. Keep the jadedness hidden behind an innocent façade; open himself up to jokes and teasing, as long as it keeps the peace and the atmosphere light. The moodmaker, that was his job, and he wears the badge with battered pride.
He sings of love and heartache and wonders if one is possible without the other, or do they always come in pairs. And is the one left behind the one really with the most heartache?
People sing their praises and he sings back in return, weaving spells and magic with the haunting melodies; unaware that when they say he puts his heart and soul into his music that literally, he does.
After each recording, after each fanmeet, after each concert, he leaves a little part of himself behind in the stands, on the stage, with the fans.
He’s left drained and tired and exhausted. So very exhausted. No amount of worrying or chastisement from his members can make him stop. It’s what he was created for after all.
He does it for the fans, he does it for his members, he does it for love. And while he’s sure one day he may well exhaust his supply, have no more left to put into his music, let alone his life, that will be the day he lays down and rests, and dreams.
