Pure comedy...
So I got an invitation to go to my friend Scot's wedding. He is getting married in New Jersey on the first Saturday in November.
The invitation is for me "and guest."
I find this funny. Primarily due to the fact that I CAN'T GET A FLIPPIN' DATE HERE, and Scot wants me to get one 3000 miles away for a weekend nearly two months from now?!?!
I can't tell if the "and guest" is a simple courtesy, a joke, or the twisted beliefs of a blissfully engaged man who thinks that a special someone is available for all of his friends. Either way, I think it's pure comedy!! :-)
