They wave to each other and sit across the table. Quick look through a menu to order a standard latte-no sugar-thank you. They haven't met for a while, and there's a lot to talk. But... There are two black devices on the desk. The screens go on and off. Vibration. Checking in. FB. What's app. Work issue to solve. Distraction. Life is full of hinders, one loses concentration. Attention span shortens from year to year. There's less communication and the one we have is getting shallow. The world of things where wealth is the measure. Freedom as a kind of comfort available only to certain classes. You can't find your place. There are too many options being a mask to slavery. You feel bored. You see circles and cycles. Just like at the programming school ages ago. With the only difference: back then the world was full of opportunities. Now it's all mere a regret.
