As I am a bit late notice setting up for this...my offers and requests are a bit haphazard - I apologize. For my selected works, I am not opposed to 3rd person, 1st person, R rated or Gen...anything really so long as it is well-considered.
WEll...here goes:
I've always been so impressed with the amount of detail that went into Maleficent's expressions in the original animated film. There is so much behind a single cell of expression - particularly in the throne room scene. Angelina seems to think that she interpreted Maleficent's backstory well - but I would like a different story. How did she come to be so full of hate? Was she born that way? Did something horrible happen? Twist a young fay into Maleficent, and I'll be a happy person. Not opposed to crudeness.
So Bowser Jr. Who was the mother? I've always harboured the idea that Peach was secretly Bowser's lover, but she couldn't outwardly admit to that without the entire kingdom coming down on her. I would love a story about Peach and Bowser and his son (legitimate or not). If it wasn't Peach, I would love to see a reaction piece about who Jr's mother is - and Peach's reaction to this.
I would have loved to be a bug on the wall when the game designers realised that Kayaba intended to lock a bunch of kids in a game. When did that come to light, and was Yuri a glitch in the system placed by one of the designers as a trojan back door? Alternately, if I must stick to the characters, I would love to see an early battle with Kirito and Yuuki - or a setting up of Yuuki's guild. I just love this anime a lot.
