The Tank 2003-2005
So yeah, my parents traded in our 1999 GMC Yukon SLT. I took it much harder than I should, I'm really pathetic. But I mean I got all my drivers hours on that thing. The Yukon was the first SUV we ever owned, we bought it after the night from hell that resulted in our minivan being wrecked and me going on anti-depressants. It was a brute- it didn't accelerate worth shit- but it was a blast to drive. Eh, like I said I'm just pathetic. It really bothers me what they replaced it with. The Rendevouz isn't even a real SUV- it is a crossover- it sits on a car platform. Not to mention the exterior is an eyesore- though the front interior is beautiful- but I'll get to that later. I think I just got attatched to the Yukon, it was the frist real car I ever drove freely, it just seems like I lost a friend. It is really hard to describe, hell I don't even know how I got attatched to a car. I'll get over it.
Anywho here are some pictures of the new car, a 2004 Buick Rendevouz.
Side
I don't like the profile of this car. It sits too tall with too small of tires. The plastic molding isn't bad, certaintly less extensive than on similar GM products. Some of the harsh angles on the otherhand remind me too much of the Pontiac Aztek, of which it is based off of.

Front
I don't like the layout of the headlanps, but the grille is traditionally Buick- and thus is classy. Though I think they pulled it off better, and admittedly slightly more conservatively, on the Rainier. That said, this is definately a Buick from the front end.

Rear
All I see is Pontiac. Lots and lots of Pontiac, I don't see any Buick in there. It really is just that damn ugly. That lard ass of a rear bumper negats any style it may or may not have had, and the angles of the tail lights/windshield are just so offbeat.
Eh.
Instrument Cluster
Now this is awsome. I love this instrument cluster, it is absolutely beautiful. The black on white with the little bits of chrome are so classy, a car like this doesn't deserve to look this damn good from the drivers seat. It is even better at night, the nice blue-green glow could is soft and far from intrusive, and it is calm, that dash would make an awsome nightlight for any car buff.
Front Passenger Area
A few more compliments go to the front cabin. It is roomy, there is leg room, and the seats are comfy. Most of the interiors design is nice, though some of the angles are a bit much for me, and the amount of plastic makes this thing look pretty cheap. But as said, it is comfortable, and fairly roomy- unlike the rear.
Rear Passenger Area
This is where I get to sit whenever I ride with my parents, and seeing as my car is currently out of commision I may be spending the next few days here. This back seat is horrible. I have an easier time getting in and out of the back of Elizabeths parents for Focus wagon. The seats arn't comfortable, and they have a very flat uncomfortable feeling to them. The arm rests really arn't, they are too small to be of any sue, and there is no leg room. The power windows go almost all the way down, then stop at about an inch from being fully retracted- what the hell is the point of that? I don't get it. The head rest on the otherhand is awsome, conforms perfectly with my head and neck, why isn't the rest of the seat so comfy? Anywho that doesn't matter, my parents are removing them.
