Started work today...
It really wasn't bad. I can see it getting boring at times, but I don't think I'll mind it. For now I am purging and filling propane tanks, and I'm slightly paranoid that I'll make a mistake and one will explode, but I don't think about that. I'll be doing this for a week or so before I'm moved to gas, they have me at propane because memorial day weekend is coming up and the Tire Bay guys can't cover the propane all the time. After that is over with I'll be spending my day in a little booth making sure people know how to operate the pumps, I've been told its ok to bring a book with me. I had the joy of having my car stall out today while going down the road- twice- the second time my stepfathers truck pushed me out of the road into a parking lot- and banged up my right tail light. Bleh. So the cars doing better now, another problem with coolant, this shit has got to be leaking- no other way could I be going through that much. Anywho I'm glad to be working, for now anyways, it'll keep me occupied. I won't see Liz as much, I mean I'll be working, though things should be easier once she is out of school. Also, now that I have a job I can do things with her- take her shopping, to dinner, a movie, whatever- just spend time with her. It'll be nice. Now all I need to do is keep my car running, heh, which hopefully won't be a problem.
