MPAA

Yet more evidence that the MPAA is whacked out of their mind deciding on movie ratings:

“The Hunger Games” is rated PG-13. (Parents strongly cautioned.) Brutal child-on-child violence and death.

Compare that with It's Complicated, one of the mildest movies I've seen recently, which received an R rating simply because Meryl Streep takes a drag of marijuana (and doesn't get caught and punished).

Or compare with Bully, the anti-bullying documentary, which received an R because of "language", since, you know, the real-life insults that bullies hurled are simply too much for children's ears.
