glee club
Last night we went to see Christian's father perform with his men's glee club. Since we were going to miss his performance this weekend, we opted to attend the dress rehearsal. It was fairly fun to watch, though everyone questioned the director's choice of Mr. Roboto as a number (watching old dudes shuffling around like stiff robots is a surreal experience). To give the singers time to change costumes between songs, they have two crotchety old guys bickering in a balcony box, a la Statler and Waldorf from the Muppet Show. It was actually a pretty funny routine, with some fresh jokes as well. I have to share one:
Guy 1: I heard that Charlie Sheen's been doing a lot of drugs lately.
Guy 2: Really? How many?
Guy 1: Enough to kill two and a half men.
