Back in Lyon

We're back in Lyon. At one point early in our flight to Munich, Christian and I both turned to each other "Do you smell smoke?" We both distinctively smelled cigarette smoke. We asked a steward and he smelled it to. He immediately checked the bathrooms and the other crew came as well and they found one of the toilets filled with choking cigarette smoke. However the smoke alarms hadn't gone off and no one could tell who was the last person to have used it. They were totally ready to bust this person: it's a $2000 fine to smoke and a federal offense to tamper with the alarms. However, when they gave up because of lack of evidence, they resumed selling the duty-free items. "Cigarettes?" Christian and I couldn't help cracking up at the irony. The steward we reported it to was thankful and offered us some free wine for our civic responsibility.
