The Magic of Craigslist

There it is. My first foray into a future career in retail. I am sure that many of you have participated in such activities. Oh the memories of this most illustrious event.

Posting on craigslist some piece of junk (replaced by the Brand Spankin New Super Mega Ultra 37" LCD TV Hotness) that is taking up space (at least according to
loopylape ). A potential buyer thinking they have found some piece of treasure for almost nothing calling you up. The sadness of those who weren't fast enough when informed of such. The excitement of waiting for this mystical junk collector to arrive. The exhileration of them actually having cash money with them and being happy to part with it upon seeing said junk (perfectly good 27" TV that could have gone in the bedroom. But noooo, can't have a TV in the bedroom. It'll give us cancer or something). And finally the void that is left once it is gone. Just a memory, replaced by a few insignificant (50 bucks dude) pieces of paper (that I will probably use to buy some awesome stuff on craigslist for almost nothing. Thus the circle of junk is complete. Junk comes in, but it never comes out. Dun-dun-dunnn )
