(no subject)
last night was awesome!
I got off work and cruised down to the springs.. I left my nalgene up there but I'm lazy and don't want to go get it =S maybe I'll get it tuesday. neyse.
I stopped at home briefly and then went to Cedars. I said hello to Deb and Dennis and Norm (didn't talk to Kristina =S), Makara, Charmin.. then I saw Molly and Joanna and Barb! so I said hello to them and "team Denver" and I sat on the couch on the stage to watch the show. there was minor fooding.. I ended up snacking on hummus and pita because there was meat in everything else. so I was tired and hungry which =/= happy sara.
the dancing was pretty good. I wasn't crazy about a lot of the group pieces or even a lot of the solo pieces.. they seemed sort of dead. I'm not sure what it was. snake arm-y was .. alright. I didn't like the fast moves at the end cause they seemed SUPER fast and not really with the music. what do I know though. I think crackhead is improving a little but I still would rather not watch her =\
kari blew my mind. she had so much attitude and confidence! and she looked fantastic. her sword piece was awesome. her sword kicks so much ass. her not-sword piece was also awesome. I loved the music and I loved how playful she was and she just really really looked amazing , danced amazing.. she's just all around fantastic. I was so proud of her because, for me, it really showed another side of her that I hadn't seen before. I hope she continues to do some solo work because it was a real pleasure to watch her. mizmad is totally awesome and I love watching her there, but she had SO MUCH personality and awesomeness and wowwwww last night that I hope she continues to do both.
after the show I got pushed onto/sat onto a plate of couscous. that sucked. haha but it was funny. I listened to people chatting and being silly and at the end of the night, talked barb and kari into getting chipotle with me! so that was full of win.
we got there right as they were closing but managed to score burritos/tacos/bowls so that rocked. we chatted and ate and then they headed downtown to go party/dance/whatever they did and I came home.
and zoned. I watched numbers and some of Flavor of Love and True Life. so it was a good night.
also, at work yesterday there were these two Turkish women who came in! so I watched them and then as they were leaving, said goodbye to them and we chatted briefly in turkish. they were surprised =) it really made my day.
plus I'm getting a 300$ish paycheck I think and that rocks.
