Im not saying that we should deport all mexicans etc... just the ones that are here illegally... I think its unfair to the mexicans who went through the process of getting a greencard and citizenship that others can just come over and get all of the same benefits. The ones who waited in line and went through the process are american, unlike the ones who just jumped the border, and are here, then say that they have the right to protest due to the right to free speecha dn the right to assembly, yet they aren't citizens, thus have no rights... and its annoying to see them say that they should be citizens, that they're americans, too, etc while they're waving a mexican flag.
and I disagree with your hyphenate american philosophey... for that is the beauty of this country, that it allows people to immigrate here, and make a home, and still be allowed to keep their culture. There is no mandated religion, style of life, or even speech. But I do agree with the point that once they come here, and live here, that they should sympathize more with their fellow citizens as opposed to other denizens of their native country.
