oh man. in all my time roaming the net, i found this:

if you know me really well, you've probably listened to my raves about Sierra's King's Quest series. I bought a collection of the first 6 games years ago, and enjoyed the games so much, replaying them so many times that the discs finally gave out. The adventure series, which ties together fragments of many classic storytales, actually went through two more games (which unfortunately ive never played), making 8 in the series.
The link above is a project that fans of the games have been making for some 3 years to conclude (apparently) an unfinished franchise. FANS. Not only does it excite me that the final product will be freeware, but FANS are making this, not getting paid, and turning out a quality game, from what i can see so far. 3 years+ of work! Thats dedication. I'm sorry, but you just dont see that every day...
needless to say again, but here it is: excitement. due out this winter.
als0! ive been licking my lips over the next Zelda: Twilight Princess. check it out:

i actually preordered this game (!), and expected it to be shipped this november, but nintendo is taking more time in its development. i guess that's ok, as long as it gets to me =P. TBA 2006.
als0 als0! ive been going through some videogame withdrawl of late, so i started binge-playing the ones i have saved up on my laptop (thank God i have it).
i would like to add that Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is a freaking good game. I didnt particularly love or hate the first game for PS2, so the statement isnt biased towards the series. Very original gameplay; refreshing. If you like-a da games, go get that one.
and thats the excitement of the day. *conclusive nod*
