Nothing like assumptions to sour one’s mood.
Assuming has got to be one of the most dangerous things someone can do to another person. Nine times out of ten the assumption is wrong, so excuse me if I don’t assume what is obvious to everyone else about someone (or something), obvious or not assuming is equally as bad as prejudging. I can’t even count the number of times that an assumption has ended in an argument where one person says “Well I assumed you knew…” or “Why would you assume that?” or any other such response, it would be tedious to type them out so I’ll spare you for now.
