I had waited for October 6th for a very long time. My friend Sara and I went to see John Vanderslice and the Mountain Goats and it was amazing! JV is definitely up there along with GBV as far as amazing live acts go. The Mountain Goats surprised me a lot. I found myself really digging their set. It was even nicer when JV and some of his crew joined the MGs on stage for some songs.
