“Shut up and get in the van.” the gruff voice said.

"Where are you taking me?" Kris tried to shout but his shaky voice came out nothing more than a squeak of fear. So perfect. His life already sucked eggs, and now this.

Kris attempted to take a swing at the monster who had hold of him, but he was overpowered.

"You're good looking, might as well stop struggling so I don't have to damage that pretty face." The voice said. "You have no chance." Kris tried to break free once more, then gave up. "I'm taking you to the Alpha." the voice said as the van sped off.

-----

Kris took one look at the horrible man-beast he was being pushed toward and cringed. "Master." the deep voice growled. "I brought you an offering."

The beast approached Kris and looked him over.

"Satisfactory." he nodded to the attending wolf, a silent approval and dismissal. He turned back to Kris. "You will serve me tonight." the wolf said. "You look... delicious. But I'm not going to hurt you. Not right now, at least." he lowered his voice. "I want to savor you."

"Thanks. I guess." Kris managed as he struggled to even breathe through his fear.

"Bring him to my chambers." The Master's order was given. Kris was pushed forward toward a hall, then dragged through a door. All of his belongings and clothing were taken from him. "You have no need for these." another wolf growled at Kris as his items disappeared with the furry beast.

"That is all." The Alpha sent the other wolves off with a wave of his paw. Kris was visibly shaking as he heard the door latch behind them. He backed against the wall as the large wolf turned toward him and sniffed at him.

"Relax." The wolf said. "I'm not the monster you think I am." Kris's eyes got wide. "Then what are you? Holding me captive, making me do God knows what to serve you?" he spat at the wolf.

"I am sorry. I have a reputation to uphold." the wolf moved to look out an open window at the full moon, turning his back on Kris. "My minions are not so kind." The wolf let out a long drawn out howl before turning toward Kris again. "You are very beautiful. I am sorry to have frightened you."

The wolf moved closer to the still shivering man. "My name is Adam, and I will not harm you if you listen to me and do what I say." Kris nodded, still afraid to speak. "Please tell me your name."

"K-Kris." he stuttered.

"Ok, Kris, here's the deal. I'll turn back to human in a few hours. We'll talk more then." Adam sighed. "Right now, I must run. Or I might harm you. I have certain... needs... that I must meet while in this form." He looked at Kris. "Do not try to escape, the guards will show no mercy. I will return when my curse wears off. Anything in this room is yours to use as you see fit until then."

He left with a slam of the door.

Kris quickly wrapped himself with the blanket from the bed and looked around his new prison. The room was filled with luxuries, something Kris had not expected for a creature as primal as a wolf. After surveying his new surroundings, Kris sighed and picked up a book off the shelf. He would try to read until the wolf, ahem, Adam, returned to decide his fate.

-----

The door opened and the wolf entered. "I will change soon. Do not come near me until I am finished." he commanded. Kris had no desire to go near him. Instead, he backed himself as far against the headboard of the bed he was sitting on as he possibly could, shaking with fear.

Kris watched with wide eyes as the wolf dropped to the floor and slowly transformed before his eyes. Adam was exhausted, and remained curled up on the floor for a few minutes, panting, recovering from the physical transformation.

"Am I less scary now?" Adam asked softly as he shook out his human body, then stood and slowly approached Kris, trying not to scare him any further.

Kris was stunned. Adam had been a magnificently menacing but beautiful creature as a wolf, however, words could not describe his gorgeous human form. Kris's mouth dropped open as he looked over the naked man. He pulled the blanket tighter around himself, hopefully Adam wouldn't notice the obvious physical attraction Kris was feeling.

"Like what you see?" Adam grinned. Kris didn't speak, but he didn't look away either. He couldn't.

"Don't be afraid." Adam sat down on the side of the bed. "I won't hurt you now, I can control myself much better in human form." He reached out his hand to touch Kris's arm. "Although I'm not sure I'll want to control myself once I convince you to share my blanket with me. I'm a little cold here." Kris clutched the blanket even tighter.

"Why didn't you... kill me?" Kris asked, exploring Adam's human face with his eyes. "That's what I was brought here for, wasn't it?"

Adam leaned up on his elbows, never breaking eye contact with Kris. "As I said before, I am not the monster I appear to be." He took a deep breath and continued. "I was... changed... needing to... kill. My wolves normally bring me... how can I say this nicely... easy prey, and, though I prefer to use less intelligent animals to satisfy my needs, sometimes that means human. But you were just too... beautiful... to harm." Adam sighed as he stroked Kris's cheek gently. "That's why I ran. I knew I needed to leave to keep from hurting you." Adam moved in to kiss him. "I wanted you. Definitely wanted you. But not in the way I would have expected."

Kris nodded. "Admittedly, I never thought I would be... attracted to a... manwolf."

"But you are, right?" Adam didn't move for fear of shattering the moment.

"I... think so." Kris could no longer hide his growing erection with the blanket, and moved his hands out of his lap.

A howl of joy escaped Adam's lips before he could stop himself. He quickly slapped both hands over his mouth. "Werewolf, you know." Adam apologized.

Kris's laugh was infectious and Adam leaned into Kris, giggling with him. Kris pulled him down onto the bed.

"I've never been with a werewolf before." Kris smiled.

"It's about time we changed that." Adam growled.

Adam pulled the blanket away, exposing Kris. He pushed Kris gently back onto the bed. Kris gave no resistance. Their bodies melted together with the heat, Adam digging his nails into Kris's back and thighs as they moved into each other and became one.

-----

Kris woke up to find Adam looking at him with beautiful blue human eyes and a wide smile. "Good morning, Kris."

"Adam..." Kris whispered. "So it wasn't a dream?"

"Do you want it to be?" Adam asked quietly.

"I think I like that it was real." Kris smiled. "You were... not what I expected."

"Is that good or bad?" Adam wasn't sure he wanted that answer.

"Good. Very good." Kris rolled up to meet Adam's lips with his own.

Adam wrapped his arms around Kris, feeling the welts from his long nails on Kris's back. "I marked you during our passion. Sorry about that."

Kris didn't say a word, just cuddled further in against Adam's warmth.

"We don't have to get up yet." Adam pulled Kris in tightly. "I kind of like my arms around you."

-----

"Adam..." Kris started hesitantly. "I need..."

"Yes?"

"This has been wonderful. It really has." Kris wasn't sure how to make his request to Adam. "I have to go back to reality."

"I understand." Adam's head dropped. He had known Kris would want to go back. "You won't... turn me in to the police or anything will you, if I let you go? I'll understand if that's what you want to do, but if I take you home, I'll have to ask you not to tell anyone about us."

Kris reached up and tipped Adam's head up to look into his eyes. "Why would I do that?"

"My wolves did kidnap you... and we do some horrible things." Adam pulled back, waiting for Kris's response.

"You do some wonderful things, too." Kris whispered, his breath hitching.

Adam's eyes widened.

"I won't tell. I promise."

Adam ordered Kris's things returned to him. "Such a shame to cover your beauty in clothes."

Kris blushed as he dressed. "I'm ready to go."

. "I'll at least be kind enough to escort you safely home. Just tell me where to go."

Adam followed Kris's directions. Both were silent during the drive. What could be said? The van pulled into Kris's driveway. Adam walked around to open the door, holding a hand out to Kris. He walked with him to the front door, then bent to kiss Kris gently.

"I can't see you again." Adam said sadly. "Although I would love to."

"Why not?" Kris asked. "What if I want to see you?"

"You do?" Adam's head perked up, then dropped again. "What if I... hurt you?" Adam sighed. "I couldn't handle that."

"You only change under the full moon, right?" Kris asked. "Why can't we have all those other days? And you didn't hurt me tonight. In fact, you handled yourself quite... gentlemanly." Kris laughed at his own choice of words.

Adam closed his eyes and thought for a moment before gazing up at Kris. "You're beautiful... And you have accepted me, wolf side and all." He took a deep breath. "I've never had anyone see anything but terror before."

"They're missing out on someone with a good heart, despite the occasional curse." Kris smiled at him. "And maybe the occasional flea."

Both laughed.

"So?" Kris waited for Adam to answer, nerves on edge.

"Can I pick you up tomorrow night?" Adam looked up at Kris, a smile broadening across his face.

Hmm, this was an interesting change of events. His life was much more exciting with this new wrench thrown into it.

Kris turned and walked toward his door, a new spring in his step. He knew he could bravely go back to face his regular everyday life now, a special secret hidden in his heart. But how would he explain the claw marks?
