Adam and Kris have been trying to be together for real for what is going on years now, but fate keeps conspiring to keep them apart. They rarely get to see each other, and when they do they are often at some type of event with their SO's, but somehow they can't quite stop the sneaky kissing in crazy places.

Total au. They meet while one or both are on the road, or in LA while recording, and have a one night stand. Neither of them thinks anything more will come of it, but they both have great memories of it and enjoyed each other a ton. Fate intervenes and a while later, they meet again in completely different circumstances. What will happen? Among other things, probably a kiss haha.

Just going through now and making up my list of favorite prompts for this round so I can narrow my choices down a bit. This one's on the list. *g*

Cinderella type au. Adam is a prince. Kris is poor. One night in his life Kris gets spiffed up and attends a function where he meets Adam. They share a kiss neither can forget, but Kris disappears and Adam can't find him. He searches the kingdom. Finally, he finds him based on some item of clothing or his singing or whatever.

Mail order companion. Kris is a widow with a kid or two. Kris's friend (or maybe Kris himself) sends away for a mail order groom for him (ignore actual glbt reality or make it work with historical reality by making it a "companion" rather than a groom). It's Adam, with his loving and fun personality, but who also has some sorrow in his past.

Over time these two lonely people become friends and fall in love. Their first kiss is only after they've known each other a long time...
