What is it with people who don't know how to use lj-cut (or bother to beta read their fics for that matter) in this community??

This is probably a 1st time writer who isn't sure how to use a cut. Let's not assume it is meant as a lack of respect. It takes guts to post fic for the first time.

i always have trouble doing a cut, since i just started posting here like a month ago.
it's hard to figure out you're supposed to do one, let alone actually get it to work! for me, at least.
