not a real entry
So again I should make a real entry, but I don't really feel like typing that much so this is gunna be a quasi-update.
This past semester was stressful, with two classes (one of which involved gawd awful math that made my head spin) on top of trying to do useful research and reading the literature in the field of said research. Despite the mind boggling math I was able to pass my classes by the skin of my teeth.
My research has hit a couple snags but that is to be expected when doing research with novel materials. Overall however I think my research is progressing quite well despite some of the set backs. This summer I am taking a summer class which means I will only have one more class to take in the fall to complete my class requirement. The summer has been good, the class is somewhat relevant to my research and I am glad to not be under the kind of stress I experienced during the semester.
The summer has also been full of family politics fun, and I mean that in the most sarcastic sense possible. But I'll get into that in another post.
