Help....me....the boredom is taking over.....
UGH....why am I wasting such a nice day here at work?? There is nothing for me to do...except the large pile of shit that awaits my filing, but I really don't feel like attacking that until the later part of the week. So here I sit, trying my hardest to find something to do with no luck. I've got 95% of stuff on my "to do" list crossed off.
Hit the gym last night and I must say worked up quite a sweat. Felt good....plus there was a hot guy on the machine next to me and I think we kept trying to "one up" eachother...when he would speed up, so would I, and vice versa. It was actually pretty amusing...until he got off and went to the treadmill. There was a nice abudance of hotties at the gym last night....so it was easier for me not to focus on how worn out I was getting.
Going to a women's chamber "after hours" mixer tonight, which I am really not looking forward to. Joining the women's chamber is really not all I thought it was going to be. I mean, we just walk around and exchange business cards with people I will probably never see again, except at the next chamber event. I really should be using these contacts to my advantage though...but I would want to use them to get a new job, and considering I am at the thing promoting the company I work for now, it doesn't really work out. Oh well....its good networking experience anyway.
Blair and I were talking about taking a camping trip and I really think we should do it. We need to just get away from everything for a few days...and considering none of has the money or the means of transportation to take a vacation somewhere, this is the next best thing. Speaking of days off...I dont' even know if I get July 5 off....I asked my boss if we were going to be open and he was like "why wouldn't we be?"...I was like well the 4th is being observed that day...duh!!! and no one else will be open....so I'll have to see...knowing my luck I will have to work half a day which means I will still have to get up at the ass crack...whatever...I'm so tired of this!...
