last night i won my first game of monopoly in my life. thank you matt and moody for giving up your livelihoods to me. one forcibly perhaps, the other by choice. it is with your help i have triumphed over a life long dream.
and it was awesome. an excellent time.....
also excellent, anderson's raspberry sensations.
and maybe, our last summer all together.
you know what's amazing? the erie canal. not that i really want to be writing about it for five girl scouts to perform in a week with about half an hour of rehearsal. but i wouldn't spend the equivalent of 4 billion dollars and five years to wed the waters. it's pretty amazing actually. that governor dewitt clinton, he was a brilliant man. not as brilliant as governor william jefferson clinton, but close.
i get to work at the science museum with the theatre school this year! theatre and science. who would have thought that such a bizarre combination would ever occur? oh wait, andrew and i are genius together! the theatre school is not original in this idea at all.
matt k is home, and all is right in the world. i think i will have to go bother him later.
the chorale party was good news. i made pasta goody bags at the end for people. it was a good time. and mousse (my favouuuuurite doggy) ate three pieces of cake and my bread. most of my time was spent keeping an eye on him, which reminded me of a sad week in my life.
oh, and there's a space for me in the family portrait!
i'm so glad i can take it easy this summer. but not as easy as last summer, because i'll be working every week instead of just six. but for the next six weeks, i can just chillax with the twelve hours they give me at friday's.
good times.
call me, because now i can have a life.
