So...
This last month has been crazy!
I have been to NC which was an interesting trip in and of itself. Most of my mom's side of the family was there for a reunion. On the first day there my grandfather drop's the bomb that he is getting married on Aug 6 (I think, whatever that Sat is) and he want's to get married at my parent's house b/c he likes their patio. Mom says she is okay with it, but I think she is trying to convince herself of this. I had a blast hanging out at the beach with my mom and my cousin-in-law Lauren. I read the O'Malley series and a couple other books that week and got to know my Aunt Kathy more (long story, but there was a rift in the family many years ago, so I barely know her and her family).
Then, on the way home, my parents were traveling 20 miles behind my brother and I and they had a hydroplaning experience. It was pouring rain and dad had the cruise set at 81 and the backend just went around on dad and they spun 3 times and ended up in the median. The hand of God was surely on them because for all intents and purposes, they should have flipped, and they were in mom's car which is a convertible. Thankfully, that was the only incident of the trip!!!
Then, May 31, 2005, I started my new job! I am so excited to be part of the working force again! Currently I am slightly overloaded, but I think I will be fine. The lady who does the training for the company said she was rather impressed with me, so that made me feel great!
Yesterday, my parent's and I got my bed and dresser out of storage and set up my bedroom! Finally, after almost a month of living out of boxes and bags, my clothes are put away and I actually have my queen size bed back instead of a twin. But I am completely exhausted and I have knots all over my back :( But that is the price you pay.
Okay, I think I have caught y'all up on what's going on around here...are you happy Cherry?
Oh, and Charity and her mom are trying to set me up with Kevin's friend Daniel.
