(no subject)
The tigers game went 13 innings yesterday. THIRTEEN INNINGS. Second game I went to this year that was extra innings. so, I guess it was like three games for the price of two. At the end of the Eleventh, I swear I thought Dmitri Young had it. But sadly no, and we all had to collectively hold our breath for all of the twelfth and and thirteenth. In the end, it was good.
Being that the game was 4 hours long, and we went down early for it, I saw no classic cars on Woodward yesterday. Too bad, especially since I had wanted to hang out at Katie & Mark's and watch them, but I had to unpack some stuff down at Wayne, and the game was at 7, so it wasn't convenient. On one hand, I think we should reduce our reliance on oil, non-renewable fossil fuels, for environmental and blah blah reasons. On the other hand, doesn't a '65, or '67 Mustang sound and look fucking awesome? I'd totally own one of those all metal 5 mpg, throaty cars if I could. I'd even learn to drive stick, get a four on the floor like my mom had back in the day. If I had a time machine, I'd use it to tell my mom not to sell it.
Maybe I'd also use it to tell Buddy Holly to take the bus, or something way important like disbanding The Black Hand and the dude that shot the archduke. But I don't want to screw with the whole space/time continuum, a la Back to the Future II.
