airport trips, the cat, the fishies, and watering plants.
So in the last 10 days, I've been to the airport 3 times. Dropped off my parents, sister and borther in law, picked up my sister, picked up my parents, and in an hour and a half I might go with my mom to pick up my sister and bro'n'law.
There is a moth being attracted to the light of the monitor, it's slightly irritating.
So, the time when everyone was gone was kind of nice, because it was quiet and I could get great sleep. On the other hand, Laura had a luggage explosion in the house with all the stuff from France, and it sat around the house for four days. We could never have an apartment together. And, it was hot so I was constantly watering plants and grass and things, and I've realized I'm not homeowner material (at least not yet). I didn't mow the back lawn for about a week. (in my defense, the front was done, and I though Laura might do the back. nope.) I almost paid neighbor kid to do it all, but my cheapness overwhelmed my laziness . I kept all of my mom's plants alive, and killed a pot of geraniums at my sisters. They're geraniums though, so that's cheap right?
I also kept her cat and fish alive, and I'm proud of that because as you all know, fish are tricky.
The cat was amazing. I'm so ticked Andy is allergic, otherwise I'd be the cat lady. It came to the door, it laid next to me on the couch when I was sleeping there, it attacked my feet as I was sleeping. The last part wasn't so great, with the claws and biting, but it was funny. It was like a dog that purred, that friendly.
I got almost nothing else done, since I worked the whole time people were gone, and then spent the rest of my time watering, feeding and driving to other locations to do the same for other vacationers.
I think we're going camping next week.
I'm going to have some jello now. Please liz, don't remind me how gelatin is made.
