2nd day, same story. Night off, nothing going on.
Kinda depressing, as Andy found an Excel sheet where we were tracking our BMI and fitness progress last year. It was a bet, a competition. Yes, the excel sheet is overkill, but anyone who knows us knows we are kinda overboard on the competitive and geeky side. So, back to the story. He's on a new fitness kick, and I mentioned the Excel sheet. He read off the statistics.
sooooooooooo depressing.
That statement could be the theme of the freaking year.
One year ago - graduated.
Now - night shift.
One year ago - ran the 5k, slow time, but it happened.
Now - I jog up the stairs maybe twice a day. No way could I do a 5k, unless I walked the whole way.
Fuck. I could go on, but this is just damn depressing isn't it?
Depressing. Don't worry kids, this isn't going to become Kristen's Diet Journal. Although, with my new list of goals, I may mention it time to time.
Anyway, if anyone has any tips, besides the basic 'move your ass', let me know.
