C is Irvine Welsh. Way back in the 70s, much before he became famous as an author, he used to be a guitarist in the London punk scene. He played in two bands - Pubic Lice (named after the insect shown in A. Yes, it is lice that affects pubic hair.), and in Stairway 13 (Named after the stairway in Ibrox Stadium where one of the world's worst football disaster happened.
