Weekend Update: Yuri's Night!
Fnordcon, and the usual yard stuff. Yuri's night was Monday, which is close enough to the weekend to mention.
Friday I was lame, and didn't do much of anything. I probably watched some stupid stuff on streaming, and maybe read a little? I recall feeling very unproductive.
Saturday I did a battery on the lawn (having started on Thursday) but didn't quite finish the pasture. I got out for a bike ride, but not a big one. I did some work on a borrowed Lego set- the Land Rover, a very complicated technic build. I also attended some of a virtual convention- FnordCon. They had presentations on Saturday. I finally got validation that there WERE talks between SJG and Steven Brust once about GURPS Dragaera, and a little inside scoop about why it failed.
Sunday I ran a game of Tribes using my bot for FnordCon. We had 6 players, including myself and my two ringers. It still counts, though! Fun was had, although I was surprised we only got through 15 years, not 20, even with a full 4 hour game. We were playing pretty fast, too. I don't know how fast it plays in person. I got a small bike ride after the game, and did radio net that night. I also realized I need to take some time off from work soon- I am close to the maximum vacation day storage, since we haven't been going places.
