I posted a rant for a few hours last night. But I've taken it down, I don't rant well. Thanks Jen for your thoughtful comment. Keep being me.
So instead of a rant, I'm going to share a page the November/December 2008 Adoptive Families magazine. November was National Adoption month. The magazine focuses on all types of ideas, real life stories, and ways to strengthen adoptive families. They recognize adoption happens from birth domestically, internationally, via kinship, and through foster care at all different ages. This month, they featured three stories from foster parents turned adoptive parents. They also had a educational article for prospective foster/adoptive parents. Note the title page of that article? (Click on it and it will pull up clearer)
Recognize the small adorable boy in the upper right hand corner?
Yep. I'm a proud mama. I would have loved to have both brothers in the picture, but they wanted a single child picture on the page.
