Hi my friends!
I have not written for a very long time. We finalized the adoption of our son, Big J, in December. Yep, that is seven kids! I am finishing my final student teaching in the 5th grade. I graduate in 5 weeks! My husband and I just had our 15 year anniversary, too. So many things happening in our lives. I write here and there, but not often. Okay, I write a lot for the school and the university. A LOT, but not commercially (or for sheer enjoyment). I have written for a magazine here and there just for the joy of it all too, which helps satisfy that itch deep inside of me.
One of my joys is seeing my students readings friend's books and enjoying them. I've seen them reading Lisa Schroeder, Cindy Lord, and Catherine Ipcizade...just to name a few. My children have enjoyed reading Dawn Metcalf's thriller and Susan VanHecke's new non-fictions that grace our shelves.
