summary: in which wooyoung and iu practice for a kiss scene.
not really dream high related, more like acting related?...but i hope this is okay?
"should i tilt my head? like this, oppa?"
wooyoung stands transfixed. there are huge eyes blinking at him from behind fake lensless glasses, a mere five centimeters from his face.
"uhm."
wooyoung remembers that the fat suit is long gone when his fingers find themselves wrapping easily around jieun's tiny waist.
jieun laughs lowly and a puff of air from her nostrils reaches wooyoung's cheeks. normally, that kind of laugh and this kind of intimacy would disgust wooyoung just a little. he's a boy who's respects cleanliness and propriety. but coming from jieun, it's not so bad. in fact, it's kind of cute. and when jieun's nose crinkles because she's laughing so hard, wooyoung wants to kiss the tips of her eyelashes.
wooyoung feels his forehead, wondering if something is wrong with him to think this way.
"i can't believe we have a kiss scene together oppa" says jieun. "i would have never imagined it. it's what you always said you wanted."
"i know, right?" wooyoung replies, laughing. but there's a loud pulse inside his throat that suggests wooyoung's thinking otherwise. "but i knew pilsook and jason were meant to be."
"i would love to discuss how you probably bribed one of the writers, but we should get back to practicing" jieun says.
there's a smile niggling at the left corner of her mouth, but she's trying her best to stay serious. wooyoung's much better at his 'serious face' than jieun is. but when wooyoung shows jieun how it's done, she bursts into laughter again.
"i can't do it! i can't do it!" she squeals, waving her hands. "the second i look into your eyes, i..."
she laughs so hard that she can't speak. wooyoung smiles, tugging on her wrists so she can get up from the floor. jieun's laughing so hard her knees have given way.
with one last tug, jieun flies into wooyoung's arms, upright.
"we'll do it like this" wooyoung says. in reality, he's whispering because, suddenly, jieun's face is really close to his.
wooyoung holds jieun's right cheek in one hand and wraps his other arm around jieun's waist. jieun still hasn't gotten a grasp of the situation and her eyes blink rapidly before wooyoung's face.
so wooyoung tilts his head instead. their noses bump briefly. a shy little eskimo kiss. and then.
wooyoung's lips touch jieun's gently, giving under the softness of the other's mouth. it can't be more than a second that their lips touch, but wooyoung feels a cold, electric tingle through his spine though the breath on his tongue is hot. wooyoung pulls back, holding onto jieun's shoulder.
wooyoung finds it hard to breathe properly.
"like that?" asks jieun breathily, after a minute of silence.
"yeah" wooyoung tells her, rubbing his sweaty palms on the thighs of his pants. "just like that."

i love how stoic wooyoung is in the beginning, like a little boy so shy and embarrassed and isn't sure what to say or how to act, and i love love how jieun's laugh is all it took for him to be comfortable with her.
love the part where she is in the floor laughing and wooyoung is just there pulling her to stand back up. the image is so so so lovely gyahhh >.< and the aftereffects of the kiss is nice, i like even after that act of intimacy, jieun is still comfortable around him, even though wooyoung is flustered its really cute.
i don't know how much i wish these two have a kiss scene in DH. i think theres not going to be any though, seeing how they are just a side character and IU is still underage.
thanks for this, its so lovely and sweet, and i really love the whole woou dynamics in here. love your portrayal of jieun too. :)
