Sehun stands before those words really hit him, and then his mouth goes a little dry. “What,” he manages, and Tao rises from his haunches with a little eye roll as he goes to take Sehun’s spot on the edge of the mattress. “Kneel between my legs here, it gives me the best angle to do this.” Tao says it like it might as well be the most obvious thing in the world. Sehun wordlessly lowers himself between Tao’s thighs, his insides tumbling, and there’s really no question as to what he wants.

Tao grabs the marker he placed on the nightstand and pops the cap off; he takes Sehun’s chin in his hand and tilts his head to the side, and Sehun tries really hard not to think too much about Tao’s fingers on his skin as his friend marks a dot on his earlobe. When he tosses the marker back onto the nightstand, Tao gives an appraising purse of his lips. “You can still back out if you want to.”

“Oh my god just do it already,” Sehun bites out; he’s so so close to Tao’s face and his lips and his legs and his dick and Sehun's downright jittering with nerves. Tao grins, his snakebites stretching just a bit with his mouth, and jesus, if he wasn’t so fucking hot Sehun might just punch him.

Tao runs one of the towelettes over his ear first, but it’s when he brings back the tongs and needle and little piece of cork from the nightstand that Sehun’s gut starts twisting, and not in a good way. Even being in such close proximity with Tao can’t overshadow the fact that a fucking sharp piece of metal is about to go through his flesh.

This doesn’t seem like a good idea anymore, Sehun thinks as Tao clamps his ear with the tongs and positions the cork behind his earlobe and the needle in front, the sharp tip just barely pressing against his flesh. No, this is a fucking terrible idea, why is he doing this, why.

“Are you sure you know what you’re doing?” Sehun asks, despite himself.

“Don’t worry, I’m practically a professional.” Tao doesn’t look at Sehun, now completely focused on his own hands, and that actually doesn’t reassure Sehun very much. “I’m gonna count down from three, try to think about something else to distract yourself.”

“Okay, because that’s not impossible or anything,” Sehun mutters, and really, there’s a fucking needle about to pierce through him, what the hell is he supposed to distract himself with?

Tao just hmms in the way that makes Sehun half sure he’s not even listening, and then he shifts slightly. “Okay, stay as still as possible,” Tao murmurs, his forearm fitting snug against Sehun’s neck, and Sehun’s not ready for this, definitely fucking not what is he thinking-

“Three, two, one-”

Tao is swift, but the pain is still sharp and jarring and Sehun tries his best not to jerk away. “Sonofa motherfucking-”

And then there are lips against his own, Tao’s lips, warm and firm and a little chapped and suddenly Sehun doesn’t even remember why he was cursing. When Tao pulls away, Sehun can only gape.

“Hey, you needed a distraction,” Tao says with that stretching, cheeky grin and Sehun just, god. Tao glances over to Sehun’s ear, and his grin gets a little wider. “You are officially pierced.”

And okay, there’s still pain throbbing in his ear, a needle sticking out of it, but Sehun kind of sort of absolutely disagrees with his earlier thoughts.

This was an awesome idea.
