Summery: Super Junior wants to know why Sungmin's bunny is so special
“Sungmin ah! Your bunny is on my bed again! Get that thing off of my bed!” Yesung screamed across the Super Junior apartment.
1 minute later…
“SUNGMIN! YOU”RE PINK RABBIT! IF IT’S NOT OFF MY BED IN 5 SECONDS, I WILL THROW IT DOWN WITH THE RUBBISH.”
“5, 4, 3, 2…”
A sudden breeze flied pass Yesung before he could say the word ‘one’.
“Don’t you dare touch my bunny!” Sungmin grabbed and ran out of the room. Then there was a sudden slam on Sungmin’s bedroom door.
“Aish, what’s with Sungmin and that bunny of his? It’s old and worn out. If he likes bunnies so much, can always get him another one.” Yesung sighed
“No one ever knows the deal about Sungmin and that bunny of his.” Eunhyuk said during Donghae’s turn in their game of Monopoly.
“Aish, Donghae, when did you own that much houses on that lot?” Eunhyuk asked in shock when he’s concentration went back to the game.
“Well, when you were talking, I took the liberty to buy some houses.” Donghae grinned “It’s not against the rules anway, it was my turn.”
“You cheat!” Eunhyuk muttered under his breath.
Now back to topic…
“YA, Ryeowook, you’re Sungmin’s best friend, have you ever asked Sungmin about his bunny?” Yesung tried to gather some information from the ever so innocent Ryeowook.
“Errrm, the question just never popped up before. I swear this is the first time anyone that brought up that questions.” Ryeowook let out a frightened smile when he saw is hyung was unsatisfied with the answer he has given.
“True, so true!” Kibum looked away from his book for a split second.
Then suddenly they all thought of the same thing.
“Kyuhyun shiii.” All the members cried out at the same time.
“One minute, let me finish the game, I’m winning!”
“Aish, Gamekyu is back.” Donghae sighed.
All of them know more than well enough to not disturb Kyuhyun when he is in Gamekyu mood. They’ve felt the fury of Gamekyu before, and it’s an experience they will never want to experience again.
15 minutes later…
“Aiegoooo! I LOST!” Kyuhyun screamed on the top of his lungs.
“Aish, Kyuhyun, can you express you defeat in a more quiet way?” Eunhyuk criticized as the other members rubbed their poor ears.
“Ya, what you want me do? Go and drink like Kangin?” Kyuhyun fought back. “Aish, I’m going to kill this game today! No matter what it takes.”
“Hehe, Kyuhyun shii, let Gamekyu have a rest! Plus we have something to ask you.” Yesung showed off a very cheesy smile.
“NOW, we are back to business!” Donghae exclaimed.
“Business? What business? What are you talking about?” Now the little dongsaeng is starting to panic. He started to move away from the computer.
Eunhyuk quickly stood up before Kyuhyun can run away and put him in a headlock.
“Now tell us, what do you want to know about Sungmin’s bunny?” All of them demanded. (Except Kibum, but he is still listening.)
“I know I’m dating him and all, but we still respect each other’s…ow, ow ,ow. Eunhyuk can you let go of me? I think you are about to break my neck.”
“Oh sorry!” Eunhyuk lets go of Kyuhyun’s neck. “Keep on…”
‘Well, I never thought of the question before, I just know it means a lot to him.”
*ssssigh* all the members fell back on to the couch. Kyuhyun’s answer was just as disappointing as Ryeowook’s.
“Guys.” Kibum finally broke the silence. “Why don’t we just ask him? It’s the easiest way of finding out.”
“But what if he says no.” Ryeowook asked. As Sungmin’s best friend, he knows how stubborn the boy can be.
“How can he ever say no to his boyfriend?” Kibum was obviously targeting this at Kyuhyun.
“Hehe” all the other members snickered.
“OH, NO. I’m not going to ask Sungmin something that he is not ready to tell me.”
“Please Kyuhyun, pleeeeeeease.” Donghae and Ryeowook surrounded Kyuhyun with their ‘dongsaeng wannabe’ hug.
“Aish, if you stop bugging me from the game after I ask him.” Kyuhyun said annoyingly.
“We promise.” All the member drew an halo on the top of their heads.
The members opened a crack on Sungmin’s bedroom door.
“Good luck Kyuhyun.” And poor Kyuhyun was pushed through the crack, into Sungmin’s room.
“Hwaiting!” the other whispered and left Kyuhyun to his work.
“Sungmin, are you ok?” Kyuhyun sat beside Sungmin and pulled him into his own arms.
Without letting go of his bunny, “ Yesung hyung is so mean! No wonder he never gets dates.” Sungmin said arrogantly.
“Well you shouldn’t leave it lying around; you know how the older members like to play these kinds of pranks on you.” Kyuhyun tried to talk some sense into his boyfriend’s mind.
“Why Yesung hyung shouldn’t threaten me like that! Everyone in Super Junior knows how precious this bunny is to me.” Sungmin complained like a child.
“Sungmin, I’m really curious why this bunny is so precious to you?” Kyuhyun bluntly asked the question.
“It’s just it.” Sungmin refuse to budge.
“Please, Minnie.” Kyuhyun let go of his cute side, knowing that Sungmin will never refuse.
“Fine, fine, fine. Please don’t tell this to anyone. Not even Ryeowook. Or else…” Sungmin warned.
“Ok, I get it, Minnie!” Kyuhyun let off one of his perfect smiles.
***Flash Back***
“Not *sniff* again*sniff*, they *sniff, *always *sniff* leave me *sniff*.” Sungmin couldn’t hold his tear back anymore. This is the third year in a roll that his parents had left him alone on his birthday. Even though he just turned ten, even though he know that he should be brave and responsible from now on, he just couldn’t bring himself to stop crying. It was hard for him; his parents were barley home in the first place. Now he has to deal with the loneliness on his birthday. He doesn’t can that his parents showered him with presents when they come back; he wants a normal birthday like everyone else.
“Are you ok?”
The voice came from another boy. The boy seems to be around as the same age as Sungmin. But to Sungmin, this boy seemed so bright, while he was left in the shadows.
“What are you?” Sungmin asked very bluntly. He wasn’t in the best mood right now.
“Oh, sorry, I just saw you crying, so I can out to see if you are alright.”
“Well for your information, I’m fine.”
“Erm, you don’t seem ok.”
“Ya, I said I was ok!”
“Ok, ok.”
The other boy turned around and started to walk away. Then suddenly clump of snow splattered all over Sungmin’s face.
“Ya, you little punk!” Sungmin scoop a ball of snow and threw it at the other boy.
It went over the top of the other boy’s head. “Haha, you can’t catch me!” And he stuck out his tongue.
“YA! YOU! Get back here!”
And this is how a snow fight started. It started with Sungmin trying his hardest to get back at the boy who attacked him with a snowball, but by the end it turned out that Sungmin was having the best time of his life. For a long time, he finally let out a sincere smile.
After an hour of chasing, both boys fell onto the soft snow.
“I’m going to get you for this.” Sungmin panted. ‘You’re dead meat!” He smiled, and looked at the boy that was lying next to him.
“Well that cheered you up.” The boy grinned. “It’s not nice to see people depressed on New Year’s Day!”
“Oh, today is not just New Year’s Day, it’s also my birthday.” Sungmin sat up. After saying the word birthday, Sungmin’s face started to turn grey again.
“Well Happy Birthday!” The boy said. “Since, it’s you birthday, then let all the worries of the world wait till tomorrow, that’s what my mom tells me every time is my birthday.”
And then without warning, the boy pulled Sungmin into his arms.
“Please wait here for a minute.” He whispered in Sungmin’s ear.
The boy rushed in to a house that wasn’t far from where Sungmin was waiting. After 5 minutes, the boy came back with medium package.
“I hope you don’t mind.” The boy placed himself next to Sungmin. “I got this at Christmas, but I think it will suit you better.”
Sungmin torn the wrapper to find a pink stuffed rabbit. He held it out and looked at it.
“Well I thought it will keep you company from now on, so you won’t feel so lonely.” The boy smiled.
Sungmin couldn’t stop grinning. He hugged the other boy tightly. “Thank you.”
Without knowing it, the sun was already setting.
The other boys said to Sungmin. “I’m sorry, I have to go. I was very nice meeting you.”
Sungmin smiled. “Me, too.” Then he held the rabbit out, and made it peck on the other boy’s cheeks.
The boy blushed. “Well, erm bye.” And he ran back to the house.
Sungmin waved back, and got ready to go home with his bunny, and then he suddenly realized something.
“Ermm, What is your nam…” but the boy was gone when he turned around.
After that day, Sungmin never saw the boy again. He felt betrayed at first, but when he saw the bunny the boy gave him, he felt the warmth from the boy’s hug again. There was no way he could be mad at him…
***End of Flash back***
“Oh so this is what happened.” Kyuhyun said after Sungmin finished his story on the history of his bunny.
“Ya. DON”T TELL ANYONE!” Sungmin warned for the 10th time.
“Ok, ok, ok” But Kyuhyun himself knows very well that all the members are listening to this at the door.
Kyuhyun gave Sungmin another hug. “I’m going to get us something to eat. Hopefully it will cheer you up a bit.”
“Ok Kyuhyun. Don’t forget to get some choco-pie!”
“Gotcha.” And Kyuhyun left Sungmin’s bedroom.
“AH, so that’s what happened.” All the members realized.
“But…” Ryeowook started to think out loud. “This is not what he told me before.”
“YA! KIM RYEOWOOK! You knew something, and you didn’t bother to tell us?” Yesung glared at him.
“You little punk!” Eunhyun and Donghae both burst out.
“Hyung…hehe.” Ryeowook slowly started to get up. Just as he going to run for it, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Yesung tackled him to ground again.
Kyuhyun went up to Ryeowook. “So what’s the version he told you? He told me it was the only present that he received from his sick grandmother who passed away when he was 5. He was close to his grandmother, and the bunny was the only thing that will make him feel that he is with his grandmother.”
“That little punk tricked all of us!” Yesung, Eunhyuk, Donghae said in shock.
“I think you guys should get off Ryeowook before you crush the poor guy.” Kibum said. He doesn’t want to clean up the mess.
Ryeowook let out a sigh of relief when the three members got off his back.
“ I want revenge!” the three members cried out.
“And I think I know how to get it.” Kyuhyun let out a mischief evil smile.
Kibum grinned at the backround. I guess he was thinking for the same thing as Kyuhyun.
“Hyung, what are they grinning at?” Ryeowook asked the other three members.
“I donno!” Donghae answered. (You shouldn’t expect too much from a person with a mind of a 5 yrs old…^^”)
“Ya, what is your plan?” Yesung asked “I just have to make sure no one gets hurt, or else Teukkie might kill me. And currently I enjoy life, thank you very much.”
“Oh don’t worry, no one is going to get hurt. You can trust me on that.” Kyuhyun let out an evil laugh.
“So what exactly is the revenge plan?” Eunhyuk asked curiously.
“You will see, you will see.” Kyuhyuk let out a mad scientist grin.
For month after that, Sungmin suffered alright, he suffered a lot.
