Yoochun stared at the ceiling of his bunk bed. A picture of him and Junsu stuck above him. Letting out a deep sigh he asked.
“Donghae ah. When do you think he will remember?”
Donghae yawned from the lower bunk. “I don’t know, but I do know I wanna sleep.” Donghae put his cover over his head. “Good night.”
“Donghae ah…” Yoochun begged for his friend to keep him company.
*ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ* was his response.
Yoochun sighed again.
He plugged in his iPod and put his favorite song - Flower Lady. It was one of Junsu’s favorite songs, now it’s a song to remind Yoochun of Junsu and their time together.
*** Next day at lunch ***
“JUNSU!!!” Eunhyuk hugged his best friend as he took a seat at their table for once this week. “I’ve missed you!!!”
“Let’s go Hyukkie! I don’t want Donghae throwing daggers at me!” Junsu hugged his friend back. “At least not so early on in the year.” He grinned.
“Junsu ah.” Jaejoong and Yunho walked towards the table. “Fancy seeing you here.” The couple smiled.
But right now Yoochun is probably the happiest of them all. He’s…erm…boyfriend is sitting with them for lunch! ~life couldn’t get better~
Unfortunately it didn’t last for long though…
Amongst the catching up chattering, an unfamiliar voice emerged.
“Junsu ah” a tall figure appeared.
Junsu smiled.
Everyone stunned.
Yoochun….pissed.
“Oh, Changmin ah!” Junsu smiled sweetly at his newly made friend. “Take a seat.”
Then he looked at the others. “Is it ok if I took a sit?”
Jaejoong took on the role as the mother. “Sure, sure. Have a seat Changmin shii.” He flashed his signature smile.
“Changmin will do.” Changmin smiled at everyone.
“I’ve never seen him up closer before!” Donghae said. “He’s kinda cute.”
Eunhyuk poked him in the stomach, slightly aggressively.
“But no one is as beautiful as my lovely jewel boy here.” Donghae pecked on Eunhyuk’s cheeks.
“I like to keep my lunch in for the time being, thank you very much.” Kangin took a sip of his soda to keep down the vomit.
“So Changmin…”Jaejoong started to ask. “Tell us about yourself then.”
“Joongie, you sound like you’re in an interview.” Yunho put his arm around his boyfriend. “Loosen up a bit.”
“I just want to make sure that my babies are making the right type of friends.” Jaejoong showed off the motherly nature.
“Well…” Changmin started. “Shim Changmin, 17 and Korean.”
“So basic…and to the point.” Jaejoong said. “I can use someone like him on the student council.” He smiled in approval.
“Previous schools?”
“Homeschooled.”
“Family?”
“I live alone.”
“Hobbies?”
“Too much to list.”
This simple question and answer session went on for a while.
Junsu seems to be enjoying his new best friend’s company, but Yoochun on the other hand was not so happy.
But then who would blame him?? His ‘boyfriend’ has long forgotten about his existence.
~ring ring ring~
Junsu is once again disappeared with Changmin.
For the rest of the week Changmin sat with everyone at the table. Being the youngest of the group, Changmin had become the new makane of the group.

“Yayaya!” Jaejoong came to the table one day. “There is a school audition for a 5 member or more group to perform in the school fair! Anyone interested?” He smiled.
Of course everyone knew that was targeted at Yunho, Yoochun and Junsu, since they are already in a group called Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK).
“But 5 people…we’re short on one.” Yoochun pointed out.
“How about Changmin?” Junsu suggested. “I’ve heard him sing in karaoke. He can hit high!”
Yoochun’s face turned purple.
“I don’t agree!” Yoochun strongly opposed.
“Overruled!” Jaejoong announced.
Just then Changmin walked towards their lunch table. “What’s up?”
Jaejoong looked at the young boy. “Welcome to DBSK.”
Changmin looked confused.
Junsu smiled. “You will be singing with us!”
Yoochun shoved the poster into Changmin’s wide open mouth as he went to get a soda to calm his nerves.

“So…” Jaejoong gathered the rest of DBSK. “Rehearsal schedule prior to the auditions.”
He gave out a handout with the schedules for the rest of the week. It basically went like…
Rehearsal, school, food, study, rehearsal, food, rehearsal, sleep
“You will do, think, breath about this above schedule for the next 3 week prior to the audition, no exceptions.” Jaejoong stared firmly into everyone’s eyes. “I will give you the weekend schedule by tomorrow.”
Everyone sighed. Life can’t get any worse when Jaejoong goes to efficient, dictator mood.
“NOW! Which song are we going to sing?” Jaejoong grabbed everyone’s attention to the most important aspect of this whole meeting.
“Dance?” Yunho suggested
“Ballad?” Junsu suggested
“I second ballad!” Yoochun echoed Junsu immediately.
“Ballad should be nice.” Changmin said.
Yoochun glared at him.
“Yunho, dear, I think you just got overruled. “ Jaejoong patted him on the shoulder.
“I have some ballad choices here.” Jaejoong pulled out a sheet of songs that DBSK practiced before.
“Hug. One. Holding Back the Tears. Evergreen. Picture of You. My little Princess.”
“Well, ‘Hug’ is our first song, so it would be nice to win with that.” Junsu said.
“But it’s also the song that lacks the most vocal range. I think Picture of You is nice.” Yunho said.
“And it’s the newest addition to the songs list.” Jaejoong said. “It will be much easier to add in Changmin’s part.”
“We’re missing a vital point here though.” Yoochun stood up. “We don’t know the boy’s vocal range yet! How can we add anything if we don’t have proof that he can sing!”
“We can just take my word for it!” Junsu opposed Yoochun.
Yoochun looked into Junsu’s eyes. The man he once loved and had once loved him is now standing up for another man.
“Yoochun has a point.” Jaejoong said. “Changmin, please sing this.”
Jaejoong handed Changmin the script for ‘Love in The Ice’. “Start at this line here and just hit the notes that you can hit.”
Changmin serenaded out a string of beautiful melody. It was irresistible. The melody sank into each and everyone in the room, leaving them speechless.
Before Changmin had the chance to finish the chorus, Jaejoong held up his hand. “Welcome to DBSK.”
Junsu hugged Changmin tightly. “Congratulations!”
Yoochun’s heart shattered once again.
