Shake It Up! - Christmas Special~
Teukkie woke up today to find something wasn’t right.
All of her children were noisy. Not that they weren’t noisy to start with, but today there were noisier than usual.
“Dear! I don’t think I can take this any longer.” Kangin walked in to inform his wife.
Teukkie looked at the 2 dozen pancakes that she managed to make so far and looked at her husband. “What’s so special going on today?”
Kangin looked at his wife in shock. “It’s two days till Christmas. The children are getting rather restless. I don’t blame them.”
“Right, Christmas.” Teukkie took the remaining pancakes out of the pan and handed to Kangin. “Feed the children then.”
Despite her calm response. In her mind…
*AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! It’s Christmas in 2 days!! I need to get the presents, and wrap them. Get the tree, and make the children decorate it. Get something like a turkey! And cook it!*
Teukkie took out her little *note to mother* notepad and started to make a list.

Kangin - iPad? (or will this take his time away from me?)
Heechul - Camera with video recording abilities (note to self…never check what’s on it though)
Yesung - small recording set?? (This might actually make him stay home more often)
Shindong - ‘How to make cupcake’ set (will this make him fatter thought??)
Sungmin- Samsung Galaxy Phone (has camera and all…it will be her new love!)
Donghae - wii?? (Or will it be a hazard for the family?)
Kibum - Mix Style headphones (to block out the noise ^^)
Henry - violin care kit
Teukkie finished her temperate list and went to join her family for breakfast.
“Umma! When can we put up the Christmas tree?” Donghae said between bites.
“Umma! What are you and appa getting us for Christmas?” Shindong took another pancake from the sharing plate.
“I think that’s enough.” Kangin stopped Shindong before he can take his 5th pancake. “And you will find out on Christmas day.”
“But about the tree.” Teukkie took a sip of her coffee. “We can do that this afternoon.”
The whole house filled with childish cheers.
Teukkie leaned over to Kangin. “Get the tree from the garage.”
After breakfast…
“Heechul! Yesung!” Teukkie called out for their elder kids. “Please take the children out for the day.”
Heechul and Yesung looked at Teukkie with a refusing look.
“I will pay you $10 each.” Teukkie sighed.
“DEAL!” both siblings agreed without second thoughts.
“Don’t bring them back till before dinner.” Teukkie reminded.
“Playground or the mall?” Yesung asked Heechul.
“The mall. Any day!” Heechul smirked.
***meanwhile***
“Kangin! Do you have the tree set up?” Teukkie cried out from the kitchen.
“YES!”
“Do you have the camera out?”
“YES!”
“Do you have Christmas decorations out? And dusted?”
“YES!”
“Have you cleared up the mess from taking out all these things?”
“er…hehe” Kangin popped his head into the kitchen.
Teukkie shoved a new baked cookie into her husband’s mouth. “Then get to it then.” She smiled “After that, go to the super market and get everything on the list.”
Kangin chewed on the freshly baked cookie.
Looked at the list.
Sighed.
Then went to do his tasks.
The day went by fast...it wasn’t long before it was time for dinner.
“We’re home!” Heechul and Yesung brought the children back.
Teukkie already had the table set, food ready to be served and special news for the children.
“So children. About the tree…” Teukkie started on her speech.
“Is it broke?” Shindong asked worriedly.
“Can we still decorate it?” Donghae asked on the verge of tears.
“Let me finish!” Teukkie looked at her impatient children.
Why are they always jumping to conclusion? *sigh*
“I was going to ask when you guys want to decorate the tree.” Teukkie smirked. “But since you guys seem so excited to hear that the tree is broken, I guess I will just as appa to take the tree down then.”
“NO!” the whole family (including the older kids and Kangin) all protested.
“So tree after dinner?” Teukkie said
Loud roar of cheer…

Teukkie never seen her children finish their dinner so fast! They even chowed down the vegetable as if it was the last food on planet earth.
It was a hassle for Teukkie to get the children to at least put the dishes in the sink before getting to the tree, but she got there in the end.
Now the tree.
“Shindong! You’re meant to put the tinsel around the tree, not your brother!” Teukkie said as she brought out the basket of cookies.
Donghae ran to his mother. “Cookies!!” and went for a grab and run.
No such luck.
“Donghae, these are for the tree! Not you.” Teukkie warned.
Donghae frowned. “Not even 1 umma?”
“I will bake some fresh ones for you tomorrow. Ok?” Teukkie said quickly before Donghae tears up.
“COOKIES TOMORROW!” Donghae cheered away.
The cookies are saved once again, thanks to umma Teukkie!
Heechul took the camera.
Target no. 1 - Kangin Appa.
“Hehe” Heechul creep up

“Something interesting for the xmas tree.” Heechul went to search for more victims.

But before Heechul had a chance to add some finishing touches to the pictures…
Kibum got hold of them.
“Well here is my part of the decoration committee.” Kibum took out a pen and started to annotate the pictures.
Meanwhile…
Donghae is hanging up the fish shaped cookies, while Henry is hanging up the hamster shaped cookies.
“Fish is the best!” Donghae held put a fishy shaped cookie.
“Never!” Henry held out a hamster shaped cookie. “Hamster all the way!”
“Fishy!”
“Hamster!”
“Fishy!”
“Hamster!”
“How about the normal ginger bread man?” Yesung came in with a ginger bread man in his mouth.
“Yesung!” Teukkie yelled. “You’re not suppose to eat that!!”
“Damn it! Caught.”Yesung cursed. “Well you guys have some as well then.” Yesung handed the younger siblings with some cookies.”
“YESUNG!!!!!” Scary mother alert.
“Time to run.” Yesung hugged his siblings and ran.
Sungmin on the other hand, she used everything pink for the tree. Since no one else was paying attention.
Heechul approved. Everyone else…
“Need more blue tinsel.” Yesung said.
“Need more rainbow colour glass balls.” Shindong said.
“Need more cookies.” Donghae and Henry said.
“And more importantly…NO MORE PINK.” Kibum said
Everyone nodded.
For the rest of the evening it went by like this.

“I want to put the star on the top!” Donghae said.
“You’re too old! I wanna do it!” Henry said.
“The smartest should do it!” Kibum said.
“The prettest should!” Heechul said
“The Cutest!” Sungmin announced.
“The chubbiest!” Shindong bumped his way through.
“The trendiest!” Yesung cooling said.
“How about let your umma do it?” Kangin woke up to make the decision.
“OK! Umma should do it!” everyone cheered in unison.
Teukkie was pushed to the front of the tree to put on the final star!

The star is on.
The lights are on.
The tree is finished.
With a final glass of warm milk, everyone fell sound asleep beneath the tree while umma Teukkie told a Christmas tell.
Now they await for the next day…Christmas.
