Younghak's waiting in an airport for a plane which may or not be arriving soon, and his eyes are closed. He's waiting for a friend who may or may not have lied to him and who may or not may soon be more than a friend.
Just trust me, I'll be there if you want it hard enough. And so, with his eyes tightly shut, Younghak wishes and wishes, wants as hard as he physically can, and wonders if it's enough.
A little girl is sitting next to him, staring at him. She asks him over and over, "Oppa, is there something wrong with you?" But he shakes his head and assures her that there's nothing wrong; this is called 'blind faith'.
"I don't think that's what 'blink faith' means," she replies quietly, and then her mother arrives and hurries her away from the 'strange man'.
Strange or not, Younghak sits resolutely, back perfectly straight in his uncomfortable airport seat. He's not sure how many people walk by and look at him or how many hesitant pats he gets on his shoulder asking if he's alright, is he disabled, does he need some kind of help.
He's sure of one thing and one thing only: Seunghyun will be there. He'll know by the sounds Seunghyun's shoes make on the linoleum floors and the pace of his step. He'll smell Seunghyun's aftershave from kilometers away and just know.
Seunghyun may be the flakiest man on the planet with zero disregard for how his actions affect others (or the planet, or society, or anything). He may break promise after promise with no sign of remorse, but this time. This time will be different.
Because Younghak has his eyes closed and he wants it.
