In general, as the profile states, this is a community for people to write and share their fanfics based on prompts provided here. Of course, this is also specific to Korean pop (idols/groups/boy bands/girl groups/etc).
Q1: Which tags should I be using tags?
A: Info can be found here.
Q2: What is allowed to be claimed?
A: You can only claim an Individual/Band/Pairing/#some as long as they are within the Korean pop category.
Q3: Can two people claim the same Individual/Band/Pairing/#some, but with two different categories of prompts? (Like, one does the 50 prompts, and the other the 17 phrase prompts, but with the same pairing.)
A: Yes, for now it is allowed, but make sure that your claim has a different prompt choice then the same claim made before yours. But in the future it might change.
Q4: How many claims are we allowed to make?
A: Cunrrently, only two. You may make no more than 2 claims, but if you choose multiple claims, they must be from separate bands.
Q5: What are AU and RP fics?
A: AU - Alternate universe
RP - role playing: Basically when you role play with another person and decide to turn what you have role-played into a fic.
Q6: Does my fic have to be certain length?
A: No, there is no min/max length requirements for the fics. Drabbles are welcome.
Q7: Do the prompts/themes have to be written in order?
A: No, they can be written in whatever order you choose.
Q8: How do claims work/ What kind of claim can we make?
A: YOUR CLAIM MUST BE THE SOLE FOCUS OF THE FIC.
⇒ individual member - anything goes, pairings with bandmates/non-bandmates, no pairings, all situations, as long as your claimed character is a main character in every entry
⇒ pairing - anything with your pairing featured is suitable, add in other pairings, as long as your claimed pairing is a main one. all pairings are fine, really, it doesn't matter how cracky it is.
⇒ 3/7/5/etc. some - all of your entries have to feature your claimed #whatever-some.
⇒ band - this applies if you wish to write gen (no romance) fics or if you just can't choose just one member/pairing, so you want to write entries with varying main characters/pairings/#some/etc. but keep in mind your fics must revolve around the band you have claimed.
Q9: How long do I have my claim for?
A: There is a five month time limit only to keep your claim active. If you don't post in that time you'll lose your claim. If you claim is inactive for more than five months after you start posting and someone wants your claim, you will lose that claim. Extensions will be granted to those who request them. As long as you are posting at least once every five months, you have an unlimited amount of time to finish.
Q10: Am I allowed to cross-post my stories?
A: Yes, just remember to post them here, too. You can post them to other communties, if you wish to. It helps to pimp out your writing and the community.
