"Sohee? Are you done your homework yet?" Sohee's mom called through the locked door to Sohee's bedroom. Sohee barely looked up from her laptop to reply to her mother, not paying any attention to the pile of homework sitting on her bed, laying there untouched since school ended. Sohee mumbled to herself as she switched between Kim Heechul's mini homepage, to Heechul's twitter, to an fanfiction site of Heechul.
She sighs as she finally looks up, looking around her room dejectedly, staring at the walls of Heechul posters to the shelves of Heechul merchandise, some coming all the way from Japan and China. She could quite easily and accurately be called Kim Heechul's number one fan. She looks between her laptop and the pile of homework on her bed. Sighing, she grabs her ipod from the desk, and falls down onto the bed, turning her ipod on to Super Junior's newest song and turning it so she can't hear anything else before opening her math book slowly.
Reading through the first few questions, she quickly writes down the answers she can do in her head before grabbing a calculator and doing the rest that she couldn't. She spends the next hour doing her homework, finishing around midnight, and then she closes the book, looking around and stretching, before going back on her computer to check for anymore news of Heechul.
She doesn't see anything other than an twitter update of Heechul having had Jajamyeon for supper, and she makes a mental note to get the ingrediants for that to make for supper tomorrow night. Yawning, she looks at the clock, not really surprised to see that half an hour had passed, and she yawns again before looking longingly at the huge poster of Heechul striking a girlish looking rock pose hanging above her bed. She turns her light off, not bothering to brush her teeth she falls onto her bed, closing her eyes to sleep.
When she wakes up the next morning, it is a complete downpour of rain. She gathers her homework from where she had pushed it off the bed sometime in the night, and stuffs it into her backpack, decorated with Heechul related things, including a big 'Hee' character on the focal point of the backpack.
She straightens up, glaring slightly at the grey sky and the torrential rainpour outside. Heechul won't be filming for his new drama today, since the rain would ruin the outdoor filming plan. And as such, Sohee's plans to watch him film. Sohee opens her drawer and pulls out her school uniform, and dressing quickly, before going downstairs to cook something for breakfast.
Looking in the fridge, she sees an carton of eggs. She shrugs and takes it out, opening it and seeing six eggs. Sohee takes two out before taking a pan from its hook and putting it on the stove and turning the stove on, cracking the eggs into it a few seconds later, picking the bit of shell that got into the pan out.
After the eggs were cooked and on a plate, Sohee put the pan into the sink and ran quietly up the stairs into the bathroom and grabbing her brush from beside the sink, walking downstairs while brushing her hair. She puts the brush down on the table and sits down to eat her eggs, before looking around suddenly and running upstairs again, this time going into her room and emerging with her Ipod, turning it on and placng the earphones in her ears as she walks. Finally sitting at the table again, Heechul's solo song running on repeat, she starts eating the eggs. In between mouthfuls she sings quietly along with Heechul, being careful not to wake her mom.
Sohee looks at the clock before quickly finishing off the eggs, scalding her tongue with their hotness, before running up the stairs to grab her backpack and then running to the entranceway, pausing to put her shoes on and then heading out the door, swinging her backpack onto her back as she goes, still singing to a live performance of Heechul's solo song that she had ripped from a fancam.
Slipping inside the gates before they close, she enters her near daily hell of disipline and no Heechul. She waves hello to Yeeun and Taeyeon, two classmates that were heading into the school as well, escaping from the rain.
Sohee's school day ended slowly, the rain never letting up, increasing in its intensity. She hurries home, her backpack bouncing as she runs to escape the rain. She runs up the stairs and opens the door hastily, shaking the water from her hair like a dog, barely noticing the strange pair of shoes in the hallway before thrusting her own off and running upstairs to change into a pair of jeans and a teeshirt, dropping her bag by her desk.
Walking downstairs, she hears her mom talking to someone in the livingroom and walks into the kitchen, opening the fridge and taking out an apple, biting into it as she hears her mom calling for her to meet "The nice guy that came here because his car broke down, and it's soaking outside." That would explain the extra pair of shoes in the hallway, Sohee mused, walking to the livingroom with her apple in hand. She stops short when she sees the object of her obsession, the one and only Kim Heechul sitting on her couch, drinking a cola from her fridge. Willing herself to not freak out and embarrass herself in front of Kim Heechul of all people, she says hello quietly and sits down on the loveseat across from Heechul, beside the armchair that her mom was sitting in.
"Sohee, isn't it?" Heechul asks, a smirk gracing his face as a thought flashes to him, reflected in his face. Sohee nods, biting her lip as she feels her face flaming pink as Heechul looks at her with that smirk.
"I think I've seen you at a couple of my recordings?" Heechul states teasingly, and Sohee nods shyly. Her mom looks at her, a smile on her face.
"Yeah, I've been to..... a few." Sohee says, understating the amount of times she had followed Heechul to his various schedules. Heechul's smirk gets a little wider, and he shifts slightly, the sudden difference in lightening throwing Heechul's face into relief, and Sohee is struck by the sharp beautifulness of Heechul's features, much better in person and up close than from a distance or on the computer.
"Really? Just a few? I remember seeing you several times in the past month alone. And quite a few times before that." Heechul states, and Sohee's mom gets up and leaves the room. Sohee watches her leave before glancing at Heechul, glancing away quickly as she notices Heechul's stare.
"I- I like your work." Sohee says quietly, looking out the window at the rain hitting everything outside. She hears Heechul move before feeling a hand gently take her chin and turn her face, and she barely holds back a gasp at Heechul's closeness, kneeling on the ground in front of Sohee.
"Is it really just my work? I think you like something more than my work. I saw your room when I was in the bathroom drying off. It seemed more like a shrine to me." Heechul says amusedly, the softness in his eyes offsetting the harsh smirk on his face, and the scorning way he said the words.
Sohee bites her lip again, this time noticing the way Heechul's eyes flicker down to her lips, watching the movement with dark eyes. Heechul looks up at Sohee so quickly, she briefly thinks she imagined it. But she didn't imagine the way his voice had lowered an octave when he spoke next, his right hand raising to tuck a stray chunk of hair behind her ear.
"How old are you, Sohee?" He asks, and his head turns to look over his shoulder, checking to see if Sohee's mom had come back in the room.
"Eighteen, almost nineteen, Why?" Sohee asks, blushing again as Heechul turns his head back towards Sohee.
"I want to tell you a secret. My car didn't break down. I noticed this pretty woman that was almost always hanging around near my sets, and so I contacted a person I know, who tracked that beautiful woman's information down. Want to know the really funny thing?" Heechul asks, his voice going lower, and he leans in, whispering into Sohee's ear; "My car didn't break down. You're that beautiful woman."
"What?" Sohee asks, stunned that her crush had basically stalked her while she was more or less stalking him. Heechul chuckles and leans in to kiss Sohee's cheeks briefly.
"You're beautiful. And I like you, I would like to get to know you better in person. Next time you decide to stalk me, I think you should come over and talk to me." Heechul says, taking Sohee's hand and kissing that before slowly standing up.
"I- I will. I guess." Sohee says, looking and sounding dazed. Heechul reaches into his pocket and pulls out his cell phone, placing it on the coffee table behind him and turning to leave the room, tossing an "I'll call you" over his shoulder with another smirk. He walks out into the hall and bows to Sohee's mother, explaining that his friend is here and fixing his car so he is taking his leave now. With one last soft look towards Sohee, he turns and leaves.
Sohee stays sitting on the loveseat staring at the sleek black phone sitting on the table, jumping when, a few seconds later, the phone rings. Tentatively, she picks it up, looking at the screen she sees the name 'Siwon' written on the caller ID. Pressing talk, she shakily says hello.
"Hey Beautiful. Forgot to tell you that I have a secret schedule tomorrow at the empty warehouse near your school. See you there." Heechul ends the call and Sohee looks up as her mom enters the room.
"Sohee. Homework. Now." Sohee's mom says, pointing to the stairs. Sohee sighs but gets up and goes upstairs to do her homework.
